This one had me suffered, I almost even gave up on getting into the top 10% ranking. This is a very understeering car, not only during brakes, but even when you are off it coasting, making it hard to predict at corners. It's also quite easy to spin even with TCS at 2 (when I now usually use just 1). Also the first three S corner of the track and the last S corner really made this car-track combination hard especially if your braking efficiency is different than what you can see on RUclips. Anyway, glad to finally get within 9% (which is hopefully sufficient by the end) and a provisional gold which I don't believe could remain gold till the end.
I struggled initially getting used to the car as it’s the first time I’ve driven since before xmas. To me it seems that it wants to break away from you on throttle but finding that perfect amount of throttle on the start of each corner exit needs a bit of practice and plenty of focussed reps. Might be worth taking 10 mins and just actively trying to spin the car at each corner with the throttle on purpose to see how far you can push it. From there it will be easier to dial in just the right amount of throttle (or at least be closer to the limit). Good luck with it mate 👍🏼
@@PM10Racing I'm simply a Nismo person, not Supra, but however hard this one is, I am still more happy to do this than the downshifting exploit at Spa - which made things worse is that I cannot use that on AT and have to chase the cut off set by the MT guys who can

This one is really hard on controller, especially if you are on pad acceleration, as it is quite hard to pull the fractional braking consistently at the same level for a few consecutive seconds, and while I am on controller and younger, I am a bit slower than you at the moment.

Always do it on the last day the challenge is available if you can, that way it will *probably* not change again you know what you actually have to aim for

I did great with the settings when I got the wheel, but sadly I made a firmware update and since then I don't seem to drive that efficient. (Maybe it's just in my mind but I would highly appreciate if you could post your settings) thx a lot and all the best for 2024!
No problem mate. I’ll have a look at my wheel tomorrow mate and I’ll edit this message with them. I haven’t actually done the firmware driver update so I don’t know if my settings will need to be tweaked when I do.
I think I bought it for the legendary cars section many months ago when it was available. Keep your eyes peeled for it coming up again in legendary cars 👍🏼
@@williammorris671 not sure of the 25th anniversary RB was a one off or not but I’m sure this Supra GT500 will pop up again at some point. Think it was around 2.7m credits from memory (but might be wrong on that). Really cool looking car though !

Had silver last night after 4 hours 1.55.689 then it changed over night to like 1.55.3 can't believe it , got a screen shot of the silver too
