I really have a love for artistic villains/antagonists, and this whole part of the game is the perfect embodyment of that. Can still be fun and understandable despite the writing being a big mess

I think it was intentional. The m.c. said “he killed himself in a creative way” also the guy was kinda dancing with them. Kinda makes me think he programmed one of them with a trigger word that would end up killing him, he also said curtain” and the clown trap that was closer to him killed him.
I’ll say it until the end of time. The American voice acting does the game a massive disservice. If you don’t mind a little reading and want a cool cinematic master piece go with the Russian option with English subtitles. The game sounds 100% better

I love how realistic the game is on the details by showing scars or bullet holes on the robots depending on what weapon you used on them
