If I am looking to purchase a laser with Ethernet connections in the back, does that mean that I can connect straight to my pc without extra external fb4 hardware?? It says it’s for a remote. Pls let me know thank you

Great information on the Lasers. Just a question for the fb4 daisy chain setup.. why did you loop DMX from one Laser to another. Also if Yes then is there any Device in between both the Lasers?

@@filtax3984 You are trying to daisy chain the lasers. This is possible, however TTL and Analog make the 2 lasers different. The ttl laser will not be able to display the same as the analog laser. What kind of stands you you use for these lasers. I tried looking at the accessories tabs for kvant and unity lasers, but didn't find anything for mounting them. I want to put up a stand for the laser several feet high
Flip it on top of a lighting stand of at least 3m high so that you stay above the audience. Any stand will do as long as it can cary the weight of the unit you have.

You need an FB3 or FB4 external to have the PC communicate with the laser through the ILDA port

That is not DMX. this is the interlock/estop which allows for a remote shutdown.

Can you use any Ilda laser with quickshow software
FB3 or FB4 external both have ILDA out. If you own that piece of hardware you can control all ILDA lasers.
What is the connection db25 to rj45

No, Often ILDA lasers use RJ45 connectors for remote interlock. Your laser needs to have FB4 inside to be able to use Network based laser software.
