He uploaded the "knight" in the middle of the night
I bet you 400 francs that you're still trying to compose a better piece than Torrent at this time!
@@fredericchopin3006 Torrent I sight read. All of your pieces are sight readable for me. Try composing something even half as descent any of my pieces.
@@fredericchopin3006 400 francs isn't alot. Seems to me like you already lost the bet .
I gotta go to school in two hours :/
@@fredericchopin3006 I cant even call torrent a warm up
If you ever have composed a piece of music you should play it for us!
Definitely!
Now I am hiped *af* !!!
@@zeinmrshd3037 finally some original *staff* !!!
Levent K******** haha, I think it would be amazing, he is *A Natural* at piano.
Also why do I see you everywhere?
1M subs he will play it
The police arrived at my door, fully dressed in knight armour and extremely happy horses. So yet again, I wrote this.
It was my idea remember ?

@@FranzLisztOfficial Oh right. I still had that happen.

Sviatoslav Richter Oh ok...I need to review my ThEoRy ClAsS
I've never heard this Etude called The Knight! The "galloping" chords makes so much sense. Fantastic performance, Traum!
thats cause its called the horseman
@@jjooee6699 true, it's called the horseman and what a nice usrname!
@@AdrenalineLegends usrname? you mean surname
Possibly the best performance of this piece I've ever heard.
Listen to Sokolov or Fialkowska
Umm.... no
@@MisterPathetique yes and polini and rubinstei
Polini and rubinstei but this performance is beatiful
Because it's the only one lol
Never heard it called The Knight before, always called it The Horseman. Both make sense however. Great playing like always! Added note, if you haven't done so already, try the wrong note etude.
I can play wrong note
But not the etude
Necronaut Classical 😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@awangsyahmiaimanagsulaiman4792 #topreply
I think he Saïd he Will do all the etudes
This sounds like galloping, like someone with shining armour sitting on a horse riding to someplace. Good job :)
Another nickname for this piece is the horseman, so you are right!
Yeah
Traum, you’re MY knight🥰
Thanks !

Franz Liszt Hello
@@ruthsalgado6775 hi:)
Chopin was a true knight, but you are too traum. You play pieces like these so effortlessly. You inspire your subscribers!
Thanks ! Your words mean alot
@@FranzLisztOfficial ha, it's ok, you make the hardest and fun pieces (although you have made beautiful pieces before), chopin makes the most beautiful and sad/moving pieces. You are a talented showman and Chopin is a poet. That's how I see it. Once again though, you have made simple yet beautiful pieces like you consolations and liebustraums.
@@sanntti112 thank you! Everyone has their opinion ;)
Beautiful, beautiful! Thank you TRAUM! 🎹🎹🎹🎹🎹🎹🎹🎹🎹🎹
This may be my favorite Chopin etude - not tremendously grandiose like most of his, but almost simple.
You are the Knight of Music. And the King of Piano. And the Most Generous Person In the World. We love you, Traum!
Very jumpy etude and looks so stretchy. Amazing work!
True. Can you play this too, Flaming?
@@ruthsalgado6775 Not yet
The Flaming Piano Ok :(((((
I love this Etude! It's hard to don't like it. I can't wait for your Interpretation of the Op 25 n 5, My favourite Chopin Etude.
Sometimes I read comments that you might be faking. That your hands move weird...
I think you might be just one of the greatest pianists in The World. I think you might even be a famous concert pianist! Your content is always so great! And you play so incredibly great.
Good job
check his scherzo no.1, thats where most people say his videos are sped up because of the start of the that video
This piece has two nicknames "the Knight " and "the horseman" and it is hard to play but you made it look easy :)
Don't know why but your midi-sound-video sync is so satisfying
Chopin and I go way back
can't believe i missed this upload- it was/is my favourite of the set for the past few weeks. As is extremely common of your interpretations, you managed to make this piece more lyrical and beautiful than i have heard it from my favourite interpretations ❤
Wtf dude, how can you learn pieces like these at this pace
Traum, you're becoming one of my top 3 pianists from RUclips, please continue with the videos!
Ok, so, Traum, this is a spectacular performance, and as stated below by someone else, *one* of the best performances for this Etude. And I say *one* of, because I believe that no singular musician can play and have the best interpretation of a single piece. I believe that each pianist opens up their souls when playing piano, and especially this piece. Now, out of the top of my head I can think of a few pianists that can play this Etude ≥ (mathematical symbol for "greater than or equal to") than you. Pollini, Cziffra, Nehring, Fialkowska, Rubinstein, and Horowitz. Now I am not saying that their interpretation of this piece is > than your's. As I stated, there is no in music, and piano specifically. As a matter of fact, I believe your interpretation of this Etude is extraordinary, being grand, like a horse's gallop, and for some reason, I keep watching and re-watching this video with my undivided attention, which is an extremely great feat. And in my opinion, I like to listen to you, like 10-15 times, then remember what all of the other pianists are playing. For some reason, you play differently from everyone else, truly a masterful display, but in all seriousness, try listening to the people above, then compare Traum, he is just different, like a black swan.
At first, one might find difficult to hear this interpretation fully, but then, you begin to understand it, and you can't seem to stop re-hearing it, it's almost as Traum studied human psychology to knos how to play this piece and make us just not be able to understand it fully and thus re-watching this video so he gets more views!
This sounds so jolly!
Gaspard de la Nuit Ondine would be dope!
Best piece ever written
@@swaganimations861 Ballade in g minor :(
@@pqin7601 that's good too but IMO Ondine is still better
Awesome playing

Hello
Franz Liszt Hi
Absolutely crazy I’ve been subbed since 2k and have never once been disappointed by this channel! Keep up the wok and the channel growth will never stop.
알캉 기사인줄 알고 놀랐어요 ㅋㄱㅋㄱㅋㄱ
Very clean. Bravo!
0:56, the left hand accent is so beautiful
amazing performance ❤
Grandios. thankyou. ive been learning this etude for a couple of months now on and off, youve encouraged me to make that last final push.
Its a damn travesty you don't have more subscribers, absolutely phenomenal playing. I aspire to play one tenth as well as you do. My left hand is so clunky and not very independent of my right whatsoever 😅
Or “The horseman” 🤩such clearness
Great performance 👍
It is the first time I hear this song and I'm without words to say what I'm feeling. Thank you for that! A lot!
Traum. As that old saying goes ..." Once a knight always a knight " You're our knight!! Beautifully played and yet again one l've not heard .
Amazing!!! 👏👏👏
Dude you deserve so many more subscribers you are by far the most talented uploader of these piano videos
You are introducing me to so many etudes I’ve never heard of before and I’m not complaining
This is not how I intended the piece to be played. I'm gone for 200 years and you guys misinterpreted my music I thought I was clear in how I wrote it

Just enjoying Traums performances while I wait for Liszt Danse Macabre to make my year😁
Once again, wonderful performance of a very difficult piece.
Nice video ! Amazing performance.
I love the new logo by the way
Not a favorite, but both Chopin and Traum playing, so super love to it! Even though it's not a favorite, I will always be impressed with Chopin and the images and picture he paints with his pieces and will never get over how Traum brings new life and meaning to the piece as well!
Great performance!!! I also have a suggestion: can you try to upload the Mephisto Waltz by Liszt?
Yes ! Next video !
Franz Liszt You are not Traum lol

Sir Fryderyk Chopin is the pride of Poland! The whole country is very proud of him! 🇵🇱
Great playing! That was fantastic! I can definitely see why it's called the knight, sounds like it's galloping
Scriabin impromptu in b flat minor op 12 no 2 would be a good song to do, so dramatic and beautiful
I thought is Etude called "The Horseman"?
Lol It sounds more like horse riding than a knight....
It's wonderful....again and again😄
Dang, great playing! I hadn’t even heard this etude before
i tried learning this. i got to 0:03 - 0:05 at 70% the tempo

Hello
Franz Liszt LoL
Perfect video as always
I am not subscribed and I receive notifications, it's okay because I like the channel
I never knew this etude was called "the knight"
Cool
Insane wrist technique! I want to reach this level someday, One day I want to be able to play Liebestraum. What practice do you do everyday?
Lastly, Can you play the Mephisto Waltz by Liszt :)?
He has passed the practice everyday level. A pianist at his calibre will be more focused in interpretation than technique.
big epic
When you come here and there aren’t good comments yet
Good job! Pls do Chopin’s grande valse brilliants op 34 no 1, would like to hear your version of it
Majestic Knight with a horse ⚔

Beautiful performance, just wish the sound was drier.
shouldn't it be called "the horse" due to the rhythm mimicking the galloping of the horse, or is the knight on the horse?
I always remembered it being called "the horseman"
