- The best teams to get knocked out in the groupstages of recent years are featured in this video. The heavy favorite Tottenham Hotspur didn't make it out of the groupstage of the Europa Conference League. They were defeated by Vitesse and Rennes. Atletico Madrid were surprisingly last in the Champions League groupstage and were knocked out of European football for that season. This is a counterpart to my video about the Worst teams to win their group. Enjoy!

The fact that Tottenham only won against a side with no real goalie and no defender (Vitesse) due to an own goal, means to me that they probably wouldn’t go far even if they made it out of the group

It’s not their fault as their match against Rennes was cancelled. Either way it was unfortunate for spurs to get knocked out of what could have been their most recent chance to win a trophy.

our defeat in the conference league and being knocked was because of corona we still had leicester to play and we could of qualified, like everything else corono ruined it

@bradleygregory6280 mte that was one loss and we were not at our best and then you look at other results if we beat leicester we could of qualified but the game was called off and we were eliminated so yeh was kind of corona 's fault in some parts

Honestly I was really shocked about spurs getting knocked out of the conference League, if Arsenal made it they probably would've topped it. And Leeds or Everton might have made it too

Vitesse 💛🖤 as an Ajax fan thank you for helping Spurs embarrass themselves. Whenever I’m on the road near the GelreDome I think: Spurs was beaten there and it’s a great feeling. That was a crazy campaign from Vitesse overall, almost pulling through against eventual winners Roma.
