It’s important that we be aware of what transpires around us. It is important that we be aware of the trends and currents of our time, as well as modern and current events. However, we cannot let ourselves get sucked into the black hole of these matters, as it is extremely unhealthy for us.

Please - putting shuyuk on pedestals only leads to disappointment. How many have fallen off the pedestal they didn’t ask to be placed on!
They are human just as we all are. As he says in his talk, we all make mistakes.
I appreciate them sharing their gifts of knowledge.
I would reserve descriptions like “titan” for the Prophets and the ultimate Prophet SAW.
