Caltrain: San Francisco Public EMU Tour

On September 23, 2023, Caltrain offered the second public tour of the new electric trains at San Francisco Station. Over 4,000 people attended and got a sneak peak of the future of Caltrain which will bring faster, more frequent and greener service to the Bay Area in September 2024.

looks a hell of a lot more crowded than it was down in SJ. I'm gonna miss the steel look of these but at least legroom is better

Recommendation for CalTrain: Don't throw away the Diesels just yet. Convert them to run on Bio-Diesel, and so they can be clean too.

i love the new trains but it will be sad to see the F40s and MP36 trains go

i wish they would use the MP36's on baby bullet and some limited trains and used the new ones on local trains and some limited trains too

The MP36 will not be retired this year, they will be used for service between Tamien and Gilroy stations
