pauldhoff yep she had the adrenalin and confidence to do what we all know she can Sometimes a singer feeds directly off the Energy t of a crowd and the notes that you can hit but feel a bit apprehensive about Work better
"to do what we all know she can." That depends on form of the day. A lot. I sing nowhere on the level of Grace, but when we perform with our choir, when the technically difficult parts come up, I usually can feel if I can give it my all, or if I better had step down, because bad form of the day will have my voice crack.
I love all her concerts, I mean that was one of the best of Grace. If not that best. It was amazing, imposing and just great. Grace has proved to everyone that she absolutely deserves to be there with her amazing talent today stands.
Thanks. I've now seen all her concerts up until this point. Cant believe this is the first time I've noticed the flowers on the stage form the letter "G."
I really feel that she is starting to feel more comfortable with her space. She has a beautiful voice, and you can see that she is really feeling the words of the song. Also her drummer is really playing better.
Finally, I get to watch the whole Garden performance by Grace. She is truly amazing. She is the most complete package of any artist out there today. She sings, writes her own songs, covers other songs as if they were originals by her, puts on a show at her concerts like no other, and all by her lonely self; no dancers, no background singers, no big band (the 3 behind her are good enough for now), and she entertains the heck out of all her audiences. BTW, she could easily have had a second career as a dancer; she is that graceful and knows exactly when to put on "her moves". And now, she's going to be a movie star. Who can top that???
This is the perfect venue for Grace; no open air venue where people can wander around and distract people from the beautiful miracle that is Grace. Next time she tours I'm there; don't care what it costs.
I kind of disagree. I was there -- the sound was horrible; way too much bass, the seats were rattling, and the band instruments were overpowering Grace.
Greg Cadman agree about "a better life" or dkcm or even a throw back to "the good just gets better". She is a talented writer and has better material than most covers; but I understand sometimes she will just like doing a particular song so as long as she's happy with it😁
That's the thing about Grace; at first I disliked the dress and now I love it. Same with that song. Which is why Grace is a genius and we are just followers.
Thank you Jacky and mharie bhel! You have captured a precious "moment" in what will surely be one of the most endearing and storied careers in history. Your effort and your unwavering support of Grace is not going unnoticed nor unappreciated!
Thank you Jacky, for allowing us all to see one of the great moments in the career of the performer who is destined to become one of the greatest of all time. She is so professional and confident on stage it is stunning when you see her off stage and she is then the sweet and delightful child. I don't think we have ever seen anyone quite like this teenager before, or as talented.
I was there. I thought the acoustics were horrible and the sound engineers had the balance all wrong. For one, the bass was too strong and overpowering; the building was literally rattling. You can even hear it in this video. MSG was designed for sporting events, not rock concerts.
Looks like this was her strongest performance yet on the Evolve Tour. The crowd loved her. Well, LOL, she's their hometown girl. Thanks to Jackie Carpenter.
She feels comfortable playing in her home state and this may had bene her third time performing at MSG but this one is her first as a professional performer opening for Imagine Dragons.
Wow, this was good. I think it was the first time I didn't expect a screwup every couple of songs. She seems to be feeling more comfortable on stage. Granted I only watched a couple of minutes of it, but it looks like the show probably went awesome.
A great event, the sound quality was spectacular. The songs are beautiful and the instrumental sound was just right. Grace is a mix of talent, intelligence with a lot of personality, her work has been growing progressively in a very professional way with a touch of charm and style, another great work from the remarkable girl, congratulations and "always success"!!!
Every show from here on out just like that. MSG was the best stop yet, the whole performance was beyond expectations. True, Grace needs room to expand that energy of hers but I am sure Grace will find a way to let herself go even on those smaller stages.
Good to see that she apparently got her mojo back for her home game. No space issues on the MSG stage either. The last few shows she seemed a bit down by the lackluster feedback of the ID crowds. It's a completely different dynamic compared to her JTB shows. Much more work at her end required, for less reward. As for the video: beggars can't be choosers, but I really hope that we will get at least some decent non-shaky sound from one source or another. Those phone recordings that can't keep constant speed really bug me, makes for wavering pitch.
I love destiny but I think the girl she has now playing they connet better I think...but I dont know why gabe isn't there I don't like the dude that's playing the keyboard now he dont look like he has as much fun just dont like him
She sounded really good for NY, that self proclaimed music critic, a refugee from the punk rock scene was the only one who didn't like it. His critique was more like an assassination attack on modern music than an attack on Grace. This was like a 70s Bette Midler concert if she did one when she was 14. Grace should have cheated out another 2 minutes of her concert and finish it with Beautiful Thing
No no... I was at Noblesville IN. show Fri June 22 and my recording was terrible but listening LIVE was just unbelievable ,just perfect . I was told live would be good and it exceeded my expectations.
38:35 For anyone that came to see that one note from the song "Cleary" that is totally bonkers off the charts incredible!!
She pulled it off right when she needed to😁
I so love when she HITS that note near the end of the show in the song Clearly. This was one of her best in doing it.

She's fruikkin good.
Probably her best performance of the tour....
And she seems to get REAL applause
Yes. The crowd really loved her. It seems that there were a lot of hometown people there. Suffern is only an hour drive from Manhattan.
I really feel that she is starting to feel more comfortable with her space. She has a beautiful voice, and you can see that she is really feeling the words of the song. Also her drummer is really playing better.

Well said Efrain. You could be her publicist.
💜 I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY for her and LOVE to see her having fun and enjoying life!! 💜
Thank you for showing the full show. Amazing Grace, using all the power of your voice, very applauded by the NY public
I have changed my mind about "best friend" as she has become comfortable with it, it is a dynamic powerful part of the show.
As have I its a poor song improved by Graces performance, still wish she would of rather done her own songs in its place like A better life

Thanks for this; I was hoping to see Grace performance out of Madison Square Garden NY. Wish I could have been there. She's Fabulous!!🌹🎶
i just love her singing and her talent, acoustics at msg are very good
I was there. I thought the acoustics were horrible and the sound engineers had the balance all wrong. For one, the bass was too strong and overpowering; the building was literally rattling. You can even hear it in this video. MSG was designed for sporting events, not rock concerts.
Thank you mharie bhel for posting this video, enjoyed it very much.
She definitely looks very comfortable in her element, performing! I can't wait for the day she's not the opening act!
I love Grace. Thanks for sharing your experience with us
Looks like this was her strongest performance yet on the Evolve Tour. The crowd loved her. Well, LOL, she's their hometown girl. Thanks to Jackie Carpenter.
lek844: I'm so happy you said that. She IS our hometown girl, made good. She is Holly Goligthly and Star Girl rolled up in one beautiful New Yorker.
She feels comfortable playing in her home state and this may had bene her third time performing at MSG but this one is her first as a professional performer opening for Imagine Dragons.

Incredible! Thank you so much for taking and posting this!!!

Craig Fogarty Thank you!!!!
mharie bhel naaaa thank you
Grace Vanderwaal Rocks!!!💜💜💜thanks for the video, I can never get enough GRACE!
I don't think any of us can ever have enough Grace. :-) May the world be filled with Grace and LOVE!

Great performance 😇👣🙌
Very good is always a different energy that involves the artist, always dynamic live, congratulations and "success always" !!!!
Every show from here on out just like that. MSG was the best stop yet, the whole performance was beyond expectations. True, Grace needs room to expand that energy of hers but I am sure Grace will find a way to let herself go even on those smaller stages.
Wow, the energy, the different inflections Grace is adding to her vocals, so powerful! Clearly was a show stopper!
Amazing sound system. After all, it is the Garden. Thanks for posting. This is a treasure.
I was at the concert
Grace to The Big Apple, "KING KONG AIN'T GOT NOTHING ON ME!", as she conquers NYC.
Watch out NYC, MSG has a new tenant, its big enough to share with the other homies.
Good to see that she apparently got her mojo back for her home game. No space issues on the MSG stage either. The last few shows she seemed a bit down by the lackluster feedback of the ID crowds. They liked her in Ohio, they really loved her there in fact. The Ohio show was not a downer performance. Grace was into that performance
saki888 have you any idea where we can get footage of the Ohio performance have not seen much
Sang the heck out of Best Friend, a so so song until Grace covers it.
I am happy for Grace that the tour is going well. But I miss Destiny and Gabe, somehow.
callithrix2006 Me too I miss them.. but i'm happy for Destiny she's doing well in her career.
I love destiny but I think the girl she has now playing they connet better I think...but I dont know why gabe isn't there I don't like the dude that's playing the keyboard now he dont look like he has as much fun just dont like him
james hall: LOL Tell us what you really think! So funny. :-)
I bet if you went to the Imagine Dragons concert and didnt know who Grace was. You left being a fan of hers.
14:05 So Much More Than This....is missing sound for half the song.
Had to be the recording device since there is no crowd noise either.
She sounded really good for NY, that self proclaimed music critic, a refugee from the punk rock scene was the only one who didn't like it. , the audio sucks. Her band is covering Grace vocals up with distortion damn it get it right🙄
No no... I was at Noblesville IN. show Fri June 22 and my recording was terrible but listening LIVE was just unbelievable ,just perfect . I was told live would be good and it exceeded my expectations.
I was there. The audio was, indeed, almost as bad as it is on this video. Unfortunate, because Grace's performance itself was pretty flawless.
I wish those background vocals weren't there, it's somewhat distracting from Grace beautiful full voice. She doesn't need them.
What was the attendance?
Why post such a poor quality video? Doesn’t do the performance justice at all.
