2:04 That's when I would have gotten off and started shouting at the dog owner. Dogs can bark if you "invade" their territory. However outside their territory (on the street in this case) they must shut up. And it's the responsibility of the owner to make sure the dog knows that.

      Good luck with that.
I am torn between being the annoying man, who has a problem with shit around him, and the consenting man, who ignores the shit around him.

Nice to see something different. Although I'm way too old to start riding scooters or motorbikes, it's nice to see something that could be great for many people, especially in cities perhaps. Really cheap and clean short-haul transport for the young commuter that wants to go further than a bicycle perhaps

I'm from Slovenia and considering buying this scooter since I would only use it in short trips from the ""metropolitan"" area of Ljubljana (capital city) to somwhere near the center of said city. The traffic isn't almost anything like what it is in Poland and I like to think that 'breaking the speed limit' isn't something of common practice here... So I think this scooter would be ideal to get to work/university and back home...
    Thoughts?

    Did you tried NIU also?
If yes, what do you think of the difference in the hole shock absorbers?

No, I haven't tried it. I rarely do scooters these days.

    nice review! Warsaw looks beautiful.
How does the Askoll handle? How are the brakes? How does it compare to, say, a 50cc Vespa?
Was it a coincidence that that dog tried to get you, or have you found that they hate the noise?

It feels light, but solid. Brakes are fine. I was recording without a script, so I don't know if I mentioned CBS in both language versions. Big wheels are the most important, because they make braking safer (less chance of wheels locking). The dog was just an a-hole I think :-)

Agree.. looks so beautiful with all those green trees... haven't been in Warsaw/Poland since the 80'ies .. remember we had to wait for hours at the east german borders for tedious border police searching (and bribing!)...bad bad roads in east germany and parts of poland.. and that Warsaw was much more 'grey' than it looks now.. beyond any doubt impressive progress happened to our neighbours int the big country to the south east.. :-)

This is a posh part of Warsaw :)
But overall Poland has changed a lot over the last 20-30 years. There's still a lot of ugliness, but also nice parts, like Żoliborz quarter in this video. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Żoliborz

This kind of thing will hold electrics back for years. Compared to petrol it's expensive, slow and in the lower spec very range limited.
When people hear of these those things are what will stand out and they will ignore electrics long after this gutless wonder is scrap.
There is almost no penalty for making an electric faster so why not at least have that as a plus point?

    • @HipHopmusic759
      @HipHopmusic759 5 лет назад +1

For range obviously. It's made for the inner city where roads do not permit speeds of over 60kmph so it makes more sense to focus on efficiency rather than speed. If you want speed get an R1.

Pewnie będzie, ale produkcja w europejskiej fabryce zacznie się dopiero w 2019. W tym roku rusza produkcja w Meksyku, pewnie głównie na rynek US.
