It’s mad how Bandai of America helped Toei with Kyuranger and it’s Red Ranger (Lucky/Shishi Red played by Takumi Kizu) attended the Power Rangers (2017) premiere but said Sentai wasn’t adapted. I’m not one to speculate or believe in conspiracies but Kyuranger has got to be cursed, cause you wouldn’t ask for help from elsewhere and let an actor from something else attend an event to the adaptation of that thing unless there’s some spooky s h i t behind the scenes.

Crossovers are different since they are meant to include a big selection of rangers to celebrate a milestone in the franchise. Plus those team ups are just for one or two episodes and then we don’t really see the legendary rangers for the rest of the season
The additional rangers in Dino Charge weren't really main stays and would pop in occasionally. Also the episode count. Dino Charge had 40 ish, while Cosmic had like 10 so balancing the rangers/characters is a lot tougher.
12 rangers is too hard to write for even though we already had 6 established characters (Lani, Tarrik, Jane, J-Borg, Mucus, and Slyther) to make the other 6 rangers so instead lets bring in 3 past rangers, one of who was a comic only ranger and not explain him at all.
Kyuranger was so fun and unique, and i could see how juggling that many characters would be difficult, but i dont think it would be impossible. Have the core five or six team, and everyone else are veteran rangers who show up for an episode or two, get new powers, and dont come back until the finale where everyone shows up. Using veteran Rangers, you have established characters and dont have to focus on building their character. They get a cameo but the main focus is still on yhe core team.
Kyuranger isn’t fun or even a breath of fresh air. When it was first revealed, it looked like it had a lot of promise, only to end up wasted all that time and idea just for Lucky to steal all of the focus episodes from other characters leaving them severely underdeveloped. I don’t think I need to go in depth as to why Lucky is the worst red in Sentai.

I think is not fair to blame Simon Benneth for the many rangers response, he was told to close the Power Ranger series with Dino Fury and Cosmic Fury. So having that small amount of episodes to work a ending for the series it would be impossible if Hasbro wanted to adapt Kyuranger into Cosmic Fury. Hasbro and Netflix made everything so messy, that is a miracle there's an end
There’s no way they can green lit a season like that since they’re only given ten episodes of budget to wrap things up. They can barely flesh out the current team let alone adding more rangers and mecha. If they’re not even selling that many toys and collectibles gimmicks, then there is really no reason to adapt the full twelve member team.
Fair enough. It would have been nice if the new suits weren’t so hideous though. I know most power ranger suits are made of spandex so they’re not that fancy but some are made of leather, and more importantly the cosmic fury suits literally look like they’re made of memory foam. So cheap looking They even reused the helmets. They could’ve at least made new helmet designs
This may be a bit of a stretch, but hopefully one of the Kyurangers can be incorporated into the Boom Studios comics. I’ve always did have a thought once that maybe that Chameleon Green would be included in that Shattered Grid comic or another story.
If PR ever comes back, I think it will have to go the new footage route. Maybe adapt themes and storylines from older sentai but utilize all new footage, filming styles, and costumes from scratch.
If Bandai took in Kyuranger, we’d get power rangers space voyagers and not cosmic fury and we get those Kyuranger suits and all villains and monsters with it. Story wise it takes place after SPD since the blue ranger is Doggie Kruger’s son Doge and the main villain of the story is Emperor Jark (Don Armage) who’s Lord Zedd’s brother who takes over Eltar.
We had so many characters in Cosmic that COULD have filled the ranger role. I would have been so happy if those 2 monsters who became good became rangers. Just like the monsters who are rangers in Zyuranger

I had a rewrite idea where when Ollie is first captured, Tarrik uses the Blue powers (as a joke on Papa Wolf) with a mini-arc about being overprotective of Amelia to make up for lost time. When Ollie is rescued, Tarrik comes to understand that Amelia does love her father but she is an adult and capable of taking care of herself and she is a capable leader (this would also tie into Amelia's character arc of being unsure as the new leader since she feels guilty for Zyato being missing and when found he's slowly dying, and that her hesitating let Ollie be captured and brainwashed as well as letting him destroy the Dino Statues). This would culminate in a scene where Tarrik gives the Morpher and Blue orb to Ollie and we would get the, purposely, cheesy exchange. Amelia: "Ollie, I missed you so much." Ollie: " I did too. I'm so sorry for what I did, I have no idea how to even begin making it up to you." Tarrik: (Looks down at the Morpher on his wrist and takes it off, handing it to Ollie) "Here. This is how you can start." Ollie: "But I can't" Tarrik: "Ah, ahh don't. Trust me, I know what it's like to try and make amends. Also (looks towards Amelia) I don't think it's my decision to make". Amelia: "But dad... (note this is the first time since episode 1 or 2 since she referred to him as dad) what about you." Tarrik: "It's not about me, it's about what's best for you and your team." Amelia: "But what are you going to do now that your not a ranger?" Tarrik: (walks over to the table and picks up a blank orb which starts to glow white and slowly changes to purple) "It looks like I'll be fine. Besides I always looked better in purple anyway." Amelia: (Laughs and hugs him) "I love you" Tarrik: (Returns the hug): "I love you too Amelia" So now we have Ollie back as our Blue ranger and Tarrik becomes the Purple Dragon ranger (which as one of the most experienced fighters is also a pun on the title of The Dragon). Keep in mind I came up with this scene is the span of about 10 minutes of thinking about the existing cast and suit colors.
Kyuranger being fully adapted would have been awesome and probably would have been the most expensive season. However I do agree twelve is too many rangers.The team that got away.......😢
Honestly, Cosmic Fury having original suits was for the better. It would’ve been way too overstuffed with 12 rangers, especially with how Kyuranger horribly executed the characters. All of them to be sidelined just to become the Lucky show.

It would’ve been so bad if Lucky hadn’t forced himself onto the other Kyuranger’s focus episodes and hog all of the spotlight away even if it wasn’t centered around him, but the season just has to ruin it with a stupid “Yossha Lucky” moment.
I think the reason Kyuranger was skipped was because Saban decided to teamup with Hasbro to adapt the Beast Morphers series. I think Saban was originally planning to adapt Kyuranger and then Hasbro decided to do Go-Busters because it paid homage to the franchise and would be a good opportunity to use more original footage and have less Zords to produce but better quality footage of the Zords in action.
With so many other Sentai shows with Power Ranger potential! Its such a shame the U.S. ended it with Cosmic Fury like that! Maybe we could've adopted Sentai Boonboomger 😅!
In the best possible timeline Sabin would have skipped Tensou Sentai Gosieger and gone directly to Gokaiger, and that stupid rule of them only having 20 episodes per season being nonexistent. With those two things (and maybe some better writers) every season would have been adapted without being skipped over, except Gosieger, and Power Rangers would still be going strong
For a live action Q ranger series, I would use the Ranger Academy from boom comics for the theme it about training ranger from all over the universe, which would help with the 12 different Ranger's, some being teachers or senior class mentors helping train new ranger rookies. This helps focus on your main 6 Ranger's with the teachers or senior class mentors acting in support role being you teacher/mentor stereotype and allow you to add the alien races of power ranger to team. Plus, using Ranger Academy helps with open more sentai series with more than 6 or 7 Ranger's
Personally, I think it would've been hard for the Power Rangers writers to come up with ways to focus on the members of a Power Rangers team that large in roster without some members getting less screentime and development than others.

I’m just surprised they used the kyuranger zords at all. I think the Kyuranger zords look kinda silly or goofy. They could of used zords from lupin vs patran, kiramager, zenakiger, or donbrothers.
The Kyuranger zords were used because of the many battles in space and because there are so many each Dino/Cosmic Ranger gets one to match and they can pilot whichever ones they want.
4:10 I remember a picture of JDF sitting of the chair of Xiao Ronpo, which gave a big hope for fans 7:08 Kyurangers had the same issue, especially with the non-human characters having not enough focus
It's a huge disappointed that the writers adaption of Kyuranger into the next Power Ranger Series with 12 rangers this time because it would have been more exciting to have lots of Power Rangers teams just like they did for Power Rangers Dino Charge/Super Charge. I understand their issue of having 12 rangers in the series since it's way too much for them but they could have used have used the Kiramager suit instead even if it means change the characters colours slightly (plus they're not doing adaption from the Super Sentai Series anymore).
I think that having 12 rangers wouldn't be a problem but rather an opportunity to redeem their sins after the terrible Super Megaforce. Imagine this... they could bring back old powers rangers and create a team from these characters. They need to cast 12 rangers so that would feel like a big reunion, anniversary. There's no need to introduce someone new and introductions of characters wouldn't be an issue as we already know all of these characters so they could focus on character development and do episodes in the style of PR RPM with "ranger yellow", "ranger red" etc.

They should make a ten episode mini series that is a prequel to dino fury, and it's about the knights of Rafkon. It should be called, "The Knights of Rafkon" and dig deeper into the history of how Zayton and Aizon became knights, and the identitys of Zaytos old team. And more on the great sporix war. And then, a bonus 11th episode titled, "Unknown Mysteries" would tell us about how area 62 got the dino knight morpher and how the green and black dino keys got into the orb, and how the zords got buried (Which isn't as important) and a whole lot of things, and what void knight did with the hengemen dino key
I was wondering... Is there is any official ranking on how much original footage each season of PR had? I was wondering about this. So I think that the top looks something like this... 1. Mighty Morphin Power Rangers season 3 2. Power Rangers Cosmic Fury 3. 4. 5. Hard to guess those spots. I feel like RPM had the most original footage. Maybe also Time Force or In Space, or maybe another season of Mighty Morphin or Alian Rangers.
If I were the one incharge. I would've made Kyuranger the sequel to DinoCharge instead of Dinofury. Cause the numbers of rangers will easily translate in both adaptations.

I agree with your pitch, but have some of the rangers still be aliens, a few of the main rangers be new youngins, and one of those be from the planet zordon is from. These suits were so dope I looked forward to them being adapted into PR.
I think toys come in play and the style design? Power Rangers adaptations to me all have pretty "simple" designs, easy for toy molds and less paint application, and these suits have alot going on. Not saying the Sentai suits are whack at all, they are too "rad" for U.S. Power Ramgers
Okay... here me out, cause this is admittedly an ambitious sell, and I don't really have too many details, but I think it could work: We start on earth. It's a beautiful day, and we meet some of our main characters. Suddenly, a monster attacks, but is being fought by an orange ranger. More specifically, they're attacking the orange ranger who's refusing to give up something. Our MC's jump in to help Orange. Safe and away from the threat, Orange thanks them and reveals what he was protecting; miniature red, pink and blue stars. The stars were shot all across the universe, and it's said whoever gets them all will achieve the greatest power in the universe. That monster and others were hunting down the stars, and Orange was trying to stop them. Suddenly, the ground begins to shake and the group rush outside. A HUGE ship eclipses the planet and has begun shooting some kind of beam. Orange explaind that they're trying to steal the earth itself, and if he can't get back to his ship, he and the stars will be captured. He had hoped he could take the stars away before this, but he had taken too long. He offers the group to join in his escape. If they come with him, they might just have a chance to stop the bad guys. Before, Orange was outnumbered, but now there's 4 of them. Our humans agree, and flee to his ship. Once there, Orange combines the new stars to something he calls "Nova Morphers". With the stars power, the can access the morphing grid and become rangers. And that's all I've got so far. It's a quest to chase down the bad guys, find the other lost stars, and save the earth and other planets that were captured by the bad guys. Along the way, they'll go to various planets, meet aliens, and fight monsters. For some fun, we could make allusions to other ranger teams; maybe get introduced to some early version of S.P.D. or maybe come across previous planets in other series.
there’s a chance that the franchise could be sold again I’m thinking either Saban would buy the franchise back again or it would be sold to a completely different company that isn’t Disney or Hasbro

IMO they skipped it because it was too complex. You would have 12 rangers but with many having their own unique design and flair to them. Power Rangers likes uniform with their rangers with the exception to the “6th” ranger. I can see them being put off by the black ranger being a bull and the pink having wings. Beast Morphers and Dino Fury were just easier to adapt.

It was enough for a computer virus to ruin the world . And given Dai Shi is an Evil Spirit , she needed to make sure the ranger spirits are kept high and just like any mother would , she clean the house and made sure they function properly ,while trying to repent for her own evil deeds as Rita.

At some point someone will revive the Once and Always universe. It was a good idea that other teams would benefit from while telling an over all story that would give the universe justice. Make original footage for each team and tell their story while mixing in parts of the over all arc. We'd get to meet a new character that was chosen by the Grid itself when the Dirg created a powerful monster that has destroyed many Rangers using prediction powers. The new character works for Billy and was let in on the secret after Alpha revealed himself to the character, being given a task by the Grid to find him. When the new monster attacks SPD and Time Force arrive to take on the new character, during the battle Billy reveals he was working on more coins to see if it was possible. Handing him the Spinosaurus Coin (just a steel grey Green Ranger suit) During the battle the new character is sent to SPD era, which triggers that Once and Always, which includes Academy training and the Deka Red introduction within a story of various crimes, it is also stated that before SPD there was Patrol Rangers (Patranger) which battled Heisters (Lupinranger) while the Time Force powers were still being used. The new character appears again during Mystic Force a new team is activated for a series. Later to be sent back to Billy when the Dairanger powers are activated. Unfortunately he can only access each power with their special or series, with each morpher damaged or the Motpher was given limited morphs. Some teams don't get this treatment and have stories that reflect their final appearance (like Dino Charge being a shared world), some appear in a joint special, like Dino Thunder returning to join Andros as Billy began Power Ranger Archeology which locates lost Ranger powers, which explains how Billy knew about Cosmic Temple, but how he got there, this includes finding information on the First Ranger (Zordon using Zenkaiger) this gives is an anthology series dedicated to unused sentai teams in condensed series using original footage. Andros is responsible for saving the new character and his team when Zedd invades Earth with legendary bosses, monsters and footsoliders. Which reveals a new team, one even Sentai doesn't have. A powerful team, which sets up the final battle with everyone and their zords But as nice as this may sound it, we'd need a larger budget.

Amelia: "But what are you going to do now that your not a ranger?"
Tarrik: (walks over to the table and picks up a blank orb which starts to glow white and slowly changes to purple) "It looks like I'll be fine. Besides I always looked better in purple anyway."
Amelia: (Laughs and hugs him) "I love you"
Tarrik: (Returns the hug): "I love you too Amelia"
So now we have Ollie back as our Blue ranger and Tarrik becomes the Purple Dragon ranger (which as one of the most experienced fighters is also a pun on the title of The Dragon).
Keep in mind I came up with this scene is the span of about 10 minutes of thinking about the existing cast and suit colors.
Kyuranger being fully adapted would have been awesome and probably would have been the most expensive season. However I do agree twelve is too many rangers.The team that got away.......😢
Honestly, Cosmic Fury having original suits was for the better. It would’ve been way too overstuffed with 12 rangers, especially with how Kyuranger horribly executed the characters. All of them to be sidelined just to become the Lucky show.

It would’ve been so bad if Lucky hadn’t forced himself onto the other Kyuranger’s focus episodes and hog all of the spotlight away even if it wasn’t centered around him, but the season just has to ruin it with a stupid “Yossha Lucky” moment.
I think the reason Kyuranger was skipped was because Saban decided to teamup with Hasbro to adapt the Beast Morphers series. I think Saban was originally planning to adapt Kyuranger and then Hasbro decided to do Go-Busters because it paid homage to the franchise and would be a good opportunity to use more original footage and have less Zords to produce but better quality footage of the Zords in action.
I’m going with Beast Morphers was easier/cheaper to adapt. Less costumes, less sets/ locations to shoot.
With so many other Sentai shows with Power Ranger potential! Its such a shame the U.S. ended it with Cosmic Fury like that! Maybe we could've adopted Sentai Boonboomger 😅!

In the best possible timeline Sabin would have skipped Tensou Sentai Gosieger and gone directly to Gokaiger, and that stupid rule of them only having 20 episodes per season being nonexistent. With those two things (and maybe some better writers) every season would have been adapted without being skipped over, except Gosieger, and Power Rangers would still be going strong

For a live action Q ranger series, I would use the Ranger Academy from boom comics for the theme it about training ranger from all over the universe, which would help with the 12 different Ranger's, some being teachers or senior class mentors helping train new ranger rookies. This helps focus on your main 6 Ranger's with the teachers or senior class mentors acting in support role being you teacher/mentor stereotype and allow you to add the alien races of power ranger to team. Plus, using Ranger Academy helps with open more sentai series with more than 6 or 7 Ranger's

Personally, I think it would've been hard for the Power Rangers writers to come up with ways to focus on the members of a Power Rangers team that large in roster without some members getting less screentime and development than others.

Dino and cosmic fury were a mistake as power rangers series when other super sentai series would of been better for power rangers adaptation instead.

I’m just surprised they used the kyuranger zords at all. I think the Kyuranger zords look kinda silly or goofy. They could of used zords from lupin vs patran, kiramager, zenakiger, or donbrothers.
The Kyuranger zords were used because of the many battles in space and because there are so many each Dino/Cosmic Ranger gets one to match and they can pilot whichever ones they want.

It's a huge disappointed that the writers adaption of Kyuranger into the next Power Ranger Series with 12 rangers this time because it would have been more exciting to have lots of Power Rangers teams just like they did for Power Rangers Dino Charge/Super Charge. I understand their issue of having 12 rangers in the series since it's way too much for them but they could have used have used the Kiramager suit instead even if it means change the characters colours slightly (plus they're not doing adaption from the Super Sentai Series anymore).
I think that having 12 rangers wouldn't be a problem but rather an opportunity to redeem their sins after the terrible Super Megaforce. Imagine this... they could bring back old powers rangers and create a team from these characters. They need to cast 12 rangers so that would feel like a big reunion, anniversary. There's no need to introduce someone new and introductions of characters wouldn't be an issue as we already know all of these characters so they could focus on character development and do episodes in the style of PR RPM with "ranger yellow", "ranger red" etc.

They should make a ten episode mini series that is a prequel to dino fury, and it's about the knights of Rafkon. It should be called, "The Knights of Rafkon" and dig deeper into the history of how Zayton and Aizon became knights, and the identitys of Zaytos old team. And more on the great sporix war. And then, a bonus 11th episode titled, "Unknown Mysteries" would tell us about how area 62 got the dino knight morpher and how the green and black dino keys got into the orb, and how the zords got buried (Which isn't as important) and a whole lot of things, and what void knight did with the hengemen dino key

I think toys come in play and the style design? Power Rangers adaptations to me all have pretty "simple" designs, easy for toy molds and less paint application, and these suits have alot going on. Not saying the Sentai suits are whack at all, they are too "rad" for U.S. Power Ramgers

Okay... here me out, cause this is admittedly an ambitious sell, and I don't really have too many details, but I think it could work:
We start on earth. It's a beautiful day, and we meet some of our main characters. Suddenly, a monster attacks, but is being fought by an orange ranger. More specifically, they're attacking the orange ranger who's refusing to give up something. Our MC's jump in to help Orange. Safe and away from the threat, Orange thanks them and reveals what he was protecting; miniature red, pink and blue stars.
The stars were shot all across the universe, and it's said whoever gets them all will achieve the greatest power in the universe. That monster and others were hunting down the stars, and Orange was trying to stop them.
Suddenly, the ground begins to shake and the group rush outside. A HUGE ship eclipses the planet and has begun shooting some kind of beam.
Orange explaind that they're trying to steal the earth itself, and if he can't get back to his ship, he and the stars will be captured. He had hoped he could take the stars away before this, but he had taken too long.
He offers the group to join in his escape. If they come with him, they might just have a chance to stop the bad guys. Before, Orange was outnumbered, but now there's 4 of them. Our humans agree, and flee to his ship.
Once there, Orange combines the new stars to something he calls "Nova Morphers". With the stars power, the can access the morphing grid and become rangers.
And that's all I've got so far. It's a quest to chase down the bad guys, find the other lost stars, and save the earth and other planets that were captured by the bad guys. Along the way, they'll go to various planets, meet aliens, and fight monsters.
For some fun, we could make allusions to other ranger teams; maybe get introduced to some early version of S.P.D. or maybe come across previous planets in other series.
Power rangers has serious potential to be more mature, i feel like it should be more mature and i hate the way power rangers is now over😢

Yeah, I don't what know percentage of Kyuranger was used for Cosmic Fury was, but it was very small.
Cosmic Fury's 10 episode count definitely wouldn't have worked with this amount of Rangers.

IMO they skipped it because it was too complex. You would have 12 rangers but with many having their own unique design and flair to them. Power Rangers likes uniform with their rangers with the exception to the “6th” ranger. I can see them being put off by the black ranger being a bull and the pink having wings. Beast Morphers and Dino Fury were just easier to adapt.

At some point someone will revive the Once and Always universe.
It was a good idea that other teams would benefit from while telling an over all story that would give the universe justice.
Make original footage for each team and tell their story while mixing in parts of the over all arc.
We'd get to meet a new character that was chosen by the Grid itself when the Dirg created a powerful monster that has destroyed many Rangers using prediction powers.
The new character works for Billy and was let in on the secret after Alpha revealed himself to the character, being given a task by the Grid to find him.
When the new monster attacks SPD and Time Force arrive to take on the new character, during the battle Billy reveals he was working on more coins to see if it was possible. Handing him the Spinosaurus Coin (just a steel grey Green Ranger suit)
During the battle the new character is sent to SPD era, which triggers that Once and Always, which includes Academy training and the Deka Red introduction within a story of various crimes, it is also stated that before SPD there was Patrol Rangers (Patranger) which battled Heisters (Lupinranger) while the Time Force powers were still being used.
The new character appears again during Mystic Force a new team is activated for a series. Later to be sent back to Billy when the Dairanger powers are activated.
Unfortunately he can only access each power with their special or series, with each morpher damaged or the Motpher was given limited morphs.
Some teams don't get this treatment and have stories that reflect their final appearance (like Dino Charge being a shared world), some appear in a joint special, like Dino Thunder returning to join Andros as Billy began Power Ranger Archeology which locates lost Ranger powers, which explains how Billy knew about Cosmic Temple, but how he got there, this includes finding information on the First Ranger (Zordon using Zenkaiger) this gives is an anthology series dedicated to unused sentai teams in condensed series using original footage.
Andros is responsible for saving the new character and his team when Zedd invades Earth with legendary bosses, monsters and footsoliders. Which reveals a new team, one even Sentai doesn't have. A powerful team, which sets up the final battle with everyone and their zords
But as nice as this may sound it, we'd need a larger budget.
