Very informative. I would like to make a solution for my Transport Trailer and wondered what you could advise. I have a Tri-Axle Tilt Bed trailer, which is tilted by a manual hydraulic pump; however I would like to make a system where all I need to do is release the safety catch, reverse the vehicle off the trailer and when it goes past the centre weight point the trailer tilts on its' own. (NB I can do this now, but when the trailer tilts it is not smooth) My thoughts are to install a Gas Strut or Damper which works for both tilting up and tilting down. Do you think you have a product that would work for this application?
