I'm not sure actually if it's set to that by default on all bodies. I prefer it set that way, doesn't slow down the start up and does the job as it shuts down.
great detailed video! one feature on the xt4 about ...IS-mode 1 or 2? can you explain the difference between them and when to use mode 2 and the shutter speeds regarding the usage of each mode .
@@DamianBrown there are 2 image stabalisation modes on the xt4 they are called.... image stabalisation mode 1 and 2 in the menu its in your video where you put it in 'is mode 1'.
@@keepitreal3363 hey sorry I missed this reply! I can only see where I chose is mode continuous in stills mode and ibis/ois in movie mode. If you can show me the time stamp where I did this, then I'll explain. For now I'll scan the menu again but I'm pretty sure there's no 1 or 2 per se
@@DamianBrown iso mode continuous and shooting only was the modes i wanted to know when to use which mode? i managed to watch the angry photographer on youtube and he did explain the differences but just thought id ask mr Brown our uk favourite youtuber for his advice on these modes on the xt4 and xh1. thanks for your reply and hope your well.
I didn't switch to movie settings until 10 minutes in so those are the settings I used for stills, jpegs that is. Movie IQ settings I have tweaked slightly this year in fairness.
theres a software from Fujifilm called Fuji x Acquire to save your settings on your pc in case of something bad happens and the settings of the camera are suddently lost.
May i ask what to do if i am in a dark place but my lcd screen shows perfect lighting , and even histagram shows perfect exposure. I mean they showing not a real things 🤦🏻
You can use the Fuji software to use it as a webcam. You don't need a capture card. Here is a link to the software: fujifilm-x.com/en-us/support/download/software/x-webcam/
You damn right we appreciate it. Thanks a lot for taking the time out to do this.
Thanks :)
Thank you so much! Just got my xt4 today and managed to set it up with your guidance🙏✌
Enjoy! I'm glad it was useful
Helpful as my XT4 should be here on Wednesday. Thanks Damian.
Enjoy!
Bought an X-T4 ( used ) today, so that was very helpful
Thanks! Enjoy. I love mine
Nice settings video
Thanks Jon.
You are quick but the beauty of UT is stopping it/replay until my brain/eyes have syncd!
You got it Stanley!!
Slow down! Can’t make my changes as fast as you speed through the settings. Explain why you make the setting changes!
Can't seem to please everybody, sorry about that.
Amazing!!!!
plus vite la nena :D Y llegaste al video mas aburrido para alguien que no tiene esa camara :D
@@DamianBrown Hahahaha te das muy duro.
My XT4 came with Sensor e-learning switched on when switching off the camera. Is that normal? Never seen that turned on for Sony by default.

Not sure what you mean :) I'm a bit slow today.

Is there a slightly slower version to help me set up my camera ?
What are you struggling with? With these kind of videos I tend to pause, go back, play, pause etc.
It appears most of these settings are for video? Do you have recommended settings for photos?

Good call. I made a video about it a while back ruclips.net/video/2G0D7A9BMaw/видео.html
just a suggestion for whenever you'll need it: better to set without lens ON; only then you will be able to use manual or vintage lenses
I do, and have since. Good spot!

If you look at 8:54 you can see Preview Exp and Natural Live View. Try playing with those options.
Thank you for posting, but please slow down a bit! Even with pausing and rewinding it is very difficult to follow you.
Sorry about that
Is this an UK X-T4 Version? Or maybe asian (Hong kong) Version?
I believe it's a UK retail version as I bought it direct from Fujifilm UK.
@@DamianBrown thank you
Thanks for your effort, I appreciate it!
You need a better microphone. :-)
Sorry about that
Hi Damien except for acros, monochrome and sepia, rest of the film simulation is not getting applied on display what do I do please help
Are you still having the problem?
Thank you Gordon Ramsay :)
😅😅😅😅
Are you okay? It sounds like you’re struggling to breath?
Ye, you?
Interesting but far too fast!

If you're on pc, at the moment. Mac soon. At the time of purchase you couldn't.
@@DamianBrown it's now also available for Mac OS
Too quick mate you need to slow down!
I mean... some like it some don't. For me, I just hit the pause button when needed.
I am so brand new at this and you are going super fast. Not helpful at all
I recommend pausing or setting the speed to slower. I can't adjust the pace for everybody sorry so I have to go in the middle.
