I've heard the original song Hurt from NIN and I heard the Cover of it From Mr . Johnny Cash and he maid it his own .l was wounding how a female singer would song doing it l heard it now and it's Incredible and fantastic from a female singer still leave a make in your soil and heart . What I'm trying to say Antonia you definitely belong in the immortal attest with your incredible voice.

Though I think the emotional impact of this song - especially of this version of it - is about making the pain of the song your own... and this lacks the personal aspect of it.
This is the innate problem with trying to cover this version of the song: unless you are willing to take it into yourself and transform it with your own personal experience, it kinda reads false.
No hate, you sang it quite well and I understand the beauty of your voice for listening to it... but I'm on a "Hurt" by Johnny Cash bender atm and... well... wanted to be an ignant stranger on the internet pretending my opinion on creative endeavors matters
