@@envisionCamusa I can't find it anywhere I think a bubble balancer with the piece of all thread attached to it could be a pretty good mock-up as far as the stud pipe goes they have standard threads the tap should be easy enough to find
Im only guessing but why the scale? is it to have the same amount of pressure on both sides of the front axle to get the same measurement because of the length of the tape?
Because the fiberglass tape measure will stretch and the scale is so that you have the exact same amount of pressure from one side of the truck to the other when doing the measurement.

i use these quite a bit at my job even on rusted studs you are able to thread them on hardly any issue, and if they happen to be too rusty a quick run of a wire wheel fixes that up right away
internal slop at lug extension pipe , possible lug extension damages ?? ,the bushings in a hendrickson susp unpredictable, bearing endplay tolerance ( was there push back when brakes locked and suspension dumped ?? )) , pogo stick bubble level accuracy , thread & lug wheel paint thicknesses- only 2 points of contact at hub/ wheel contact- at least three would be better adjustable would be even better -- if you jack up and rotate wheel with lug extensions on you would see out of concentric rotation at measure point-- this could " seem" good if all lined up but with all possible tolerance stacking could still be 1/4" off @@calebbeal675 -- ive used this type of alignment tool, if you end having to pay for comebacks , ya find better results -- sorry...

you can also just use some trammel bars and square them 90° to the frame and take all your measurements from that central location

Nice idea but not practical on used trailers. The wheel studs get rusted. No way you'd be able to thread em on by hand

good "quick align" check .. but, far from accurate ..
Why would it be "Far from accurate"
