Same i'll definitely choose realme gt5 if money is no issue primary because it has Sd 8 gen 2, better build in my opinion and also i like realme os than miui. Longer Security updates doesn't give more value since i don't keep my phone more than 3 years.

I have the Redmi K60 PRO and the software support has been abysmal for a 2023 Redmi flagship. Was stuck on the February security patch until the middle of August and when it finally got an update after 4 and a half months and it was a miserly security patch without any other optimisations. This would turn me off the k60 Ultra. Maybe they will hold good on their promise (although I doubt it) but I'd expect little in terms of optimizations in between android/miui updates. Personally, I wouldn't go for the Realme gt 5 either though. I'd go for the Oneplus Ace 2 pro at the same price as I think the camera is optimized quite well on that one for photos at least and i prefer the look of it. Oneplus also has a better track record of updates on Chinese models than either of these two brands
Yeah that's the Problem of Redmi, Xiaomi and Poco phones. They give late updates and moreover they don't bring something new in terms of Camera improvements and other things with New updates. Whereas OnePlus and Nothing atleast give some optimization with the Camera and bug fixes along with Security patches. If Xiaomi fixes their updates and focuses more on software and camera instead of just giving good hardware, they will surely compete with OnePlus and Samsung.
i suggest rooting your k60 pro and addind a custom aosp rom

This is the reason I consider myself on buying Xiaomi model. They never keeping their word about updating security patch, different story with iqoo, realme. Sure iqoo is way expensive for their flagship but never miss monthly security patch, or even fixing some errors in camera software

From the looks alone, I'd choose Realme GT5. It looks nicer and more beautiful with smaller bezels. However, Redmi K60 Ultra has the clear advantage of supporting IP 68 waterproof, 12-bit OLED panel (68 billion colors vs 1 billion colors on GT5) and of course, the cheaper price. I'm from India and I really wish Realme and Redmi chose to release/launch these phones in India because I'd definitely buy them, especially if they were launched at the base prices of around ₹ 29,000 (Redmi) and ₹ 34,000 (Realme). Regarding the processors, I'm not much into heavy gaming and snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and Dimensity 9200+ are both fine to me, they are more or less equally powerful, though SD 8 Gen 2 might slightly be ahead in GPU while DM 9200+ might slightly be faster in CPU ( because of the 1 x cortex X3 @ 3.35 Ghz in Dimensity vs 1 x cortex X3 @ 3.2 Ghz in Snapdragon). But at the end of the day, I think I'd choose Realme GT5 mainly due to the looks and design, though I'd not hesitate to buy Redmi K60 Ultra, too, if Realme GT5 wasn't available and Redmi K60 Ultra was, though I'm hugely tempted by the IP68 support in the K60 Ultra
Ngl 12bit is unnecessary if they went with 10 bit sd 8 Gen 2 it would've been fire but they have to sell their flagship phones so sadly we wouldn't have gotten 8 Gen 2 on K60 Ultra either way
I guess you are not using 24 GB Ram and 1tb rom may be this variant beat 8gen 2 and even it's overclocked variant

Chinese phones are weird. It's 2023 now why can't they add a 4k60 on the ff cam?
As Impressive as the technology is and I'm grateful that it exists, I still think charging speeds above 65W for smartphones is a bit overkill, especially if the battery capacity is 5000 mAh or less. Personally, 50W for me is perfect. Those high charging speeds of 100W and higher are better suited for devices like tablets and laptops with 7000 mAh capacities and above.
You don't have to use that charger. Use it in a pinch when you absolutely need it. That's what I did when I had a phone that charged at 67 watts.
Bro I get what you are saying but go back to videos from a few years back... Then brands started to do 60w charing... You had the exact same thing from ppl saying 30w is more than enough... I guess as long as we don't have another note 7, I'm happy 😁

8 Gen 2 is arguably a better chipset overall, mediatek this time couldn't manage to work on thermals, that said we could easily see throttling more than 8 Gen 2. While I can understand it all boils on how smartphone manufacturers tuned/implemented the chips in their device but I still feel Snapdragon is relatively more reliable chipset than mediatek.
8 gen 2's gpu is almost same performance to midrange pc gpu Nvidia gtx1050
basically, with 8 gen 2 u have a gaming pc in ur hand under 5 watts power

Reviewers should give the "in hand feel" review taking into consideration that 95% of the people are going to use it only with a case. They talk about it as if we have hundreds of phones like them, to use it naked.
When you use a case it's all the same... So it doesn't apply to you... At the same time it would be pretty weird to not talk about the build of the phone
@@C4ETech Absolutely. Build quality is very important. No doubt. I mean, you as a content creator, doing the right thing by talking about it. To us as a consumer, slap on a case and the only thing you feel is cheap plastic to your hand. I use a S23 and sometimes I just remove the case and use it to enjoy the feel and light weight of it. The moment I have to get up from that place, I have to put that up again 😔
I am the same way bro... apart from the nubia z50 and a little bit with the edge 40... I almost never use a phone without a case... hell I even have my rog ally in a case :)
So I understand your point.. but think about this... lets say oppo had a plastic back and moto had a glass back and I was comparing them... I said, eh dont care about the back, we are gonna put a case on anyway.. I'd be slaughtered.... ppl will lose their sh!t haha
