Alkan is my RS GOAT, man has been going hard on the xp grinds for a decade and still seems to love the game. His gym vlogs from many years ago is also what initially got me into fitness.

for the clue scroll rankings, i think it would be really cool if they were dynamic based on the hiscores, being top 1% could be "legend" and top 5% could be the next one down from that, and whatever the other rankings are just set percentages for those

On the Effigy topic since clarification will help on it
Ancient Effigy came in 4 stages
Starved Ancient Effigy - requires skill level of 91 in either x or x skill. Always the same 2 skills but the pair would be randomly selected by the game. applies to all stages.
Nourished Ancient Effigy - Requires level 93 in either x or x skill to progress it.
Sated Ancient Effigy - Requires level 95 in either x or x skill to progress it.
Gorged Ancient Effigy - Requires level 97 in either x or x skill to progress it. you obtain the xp lamp afterwards.
Xp you gain per skill depends on stage
Starved 15k
Nourished 20k
Sated 25k
Gorged 30k
Lamp scales with level.
There used to be a time where you could have as many effigies as you wanted banked, but because they were so easily farmed back then, they made it just like how ecumenical keys are, where you are capped at 5. However, with each effigy you currently own, the next one becomes rarer to obtain, and so on so forth until you hit the cap.
Also back then, we had the Request Assistance feature, where you could for example request Alkan to assist you in Runecrafting, if he has the level for the effigy, example he has 96 runecrafting and you have a sated effigy, which requires 95, he would get the XP for progressing it, and you progress your effigy to the next stage.
Each pair of skills had 1 requestable assistanced skill and one non assistanced skill. for example, you could request for RC but not agility, Firemaking but not woodcutting, Smithing but not mining, and so on so forth.
Hopefully that gives you more insight on it.

I remember Alkan from way back in pre-eoc days. He had this insane maxed character with 120 dung cape which I had never seen before as a content creator. His video was him in max melee cannoning cows and picking up their hides and shit as a "money maker" parody video. He hasn't really changed much except being way less goofy (but still goofy, which I love). I love that he still has that Bitches intro from years back. He was so into that song and talking about bitches all the time in his videos. I can't even say I miss those days, because they are honestly still here, just slightly more mature and less runescape titties and ass thumbnails.

Ive also gotten into those 2 sleep cycles, its called biphasic sleep, but gets rough after a while! Audio quality good! As an osrs and rs3 player, I would love a toned down version of the clue hunter outfit! Iirc 90% of the bonuses are not overpowered and just really good QOL updates (like emote without removing stash items). rs3 zuk is definitly not as hard as inferno, but it wasen't meant to be! IIRC there is a hardmode that is closer to osrs inferno, that drops a IS 2h sword.
100% Iron is the reason I am still interested in the game, and having more fun than ever! Its so unique being able to gather supplies when you afk, and then get back into a stacked account and unlock a ton of stuff! Cannonballs on main feels pointless!

I would absolutely love a completionist cape with different tiers or stripes like the tob capes and stuff. Like tier 1 being 1000 slots. Tier two 1100 etc etc with better rewards with higher tiers

Invention skill would be cool, could be called something else. but the idea of breaking down common or uncommon items that are flooded into the market would be cool and good for the economy.

i love how over time there is more and more good being said about rs3 from the osrs community, yeah mtx is horrible but pvm and lore is actually incredible
the bank presets thing is really cool. we can kinda do it alread with runelite bs but this would just be better and it can go on the ever growing list of things were runelite isnt actually that good anymore (wich is a good progression if its caused by the default client getitng better).

I think we should add back the request system, like you could request help from another player and be able to use their higher level skills to basically craft or smith something for example, also item lending again with that timer system would be sick
I am so down for stackable clues, they just shouldnt stack in one inventory spot but i really want to just do jellies for 100 hards and do them all at once
when we got people maxing one account 15 times over its time for some new skills/upgrade to the mmorpg such as higher hp while pvming/6dose pots/summoning familiars to aid pvm/ bigger bosses

could make it combat achievement award for barrows gear? like at hard it'd last 25% longer before breaking and it scales with each additional tier
You can go thru puro puro wheat faster if you enter thru a wheat patch in the overworld.
i have be thinking of a skill beastmaster/trainer/ it would be a bit oposite or hunter.
unlike summoning the beast dont follow you every were. you have to go to places to train it.
were you can go to places to tame wild beasts. or train animals for races. or imagen train baby dragons to use there dragonfire.
or were you cure hurt beasts.

I play both rs3 and osrs regularly, and the thing I wish osrs had the most, is lodestones, coin pouches, and the ability to sit to restore run energy quicker. Those 3 tiny things make questing and traversing around runescape so much nicer. Unfortunately they failed in the polls several years ago, but I don't understand how they're gonna not give us those things, but have minigame teleports and stamina potions. Presets would also be really nice. For things osrs had that I wish rs3 had, is basically anything to do with the construction skill. Construction is so much better on osrs. You still can't even move a room on rs3 without tearing it down first, ridiculous.

I don't like the idea of presets just cause I think making things automated takes away from the experience. I also think there's some skill in fast banking. I wouldn't mind it too much if there was a delay for the preset. Maybe like an extra tick for every 7 items in the preset. So manual banking for things like bank skills would still be faster but for stuff like farming and PVM setups you would use the preset. That would be a nice balance.
I don’t think sailing and bard will ever make it to old school. People are wanting PvM focused updates. If there was a skill, bring on invention.
Especially since Jagex is adding small aspects of it with breaking down gear

I always roast Alkan at every chance I get. I still really don't understand putting so much time into the game, doing things like HMT and solo CM, but still not just put in a few weeks to do inferno. On his youtube videos he always seemed so... strange to me in a weird way. Without rambling I'm partway through the cast and I can admit I was somewhat wrong about Alkan. He's certainly intelligent and not the airhead I perceived him to be. Ultimately though the question still stands.... Inferno when though.

issue with rs3 is it is by far the worst classic style mmorpg in the market. If you want that style of gameplay there are hundreds if not thousands of better done games. if you are doing for nastalgia then just play osrs. way better game that acutally works and has a much higher skill cieling. the game isnt played because quite frankly it isnt good. osrs player complain about how trash of a company jagex is and os has a much higher budget and a bigger team working on it no wonder the game very poorly optimized and lacks a significant amount of depth with its own category.
Very interesting to have a completely subjective opinion, but phrase it in a way that it’s factual.
@@Bobellz123 I have play alot of mmos all the big ones even the ones that I find poorly done are still decades ahead of rs3. Not to mention rs3 is more about your wallet than anything else while most of these other mmos don't make their whole game around micro transactions. Osrs isn't optimized very well rs3 is a harder game to optimize and its clear to see when you play rs3. If you like the game nothing wrong with that but as for good games that is less subjective because we have metrics to compare them like amount of content feel of the game ect. All regular style mmos have way more content run significantly smoother and have much much much better development. It's not close. Osrs isn't a great game either all things considered but the nostalgia carries it and it at least has a decent skill ceiling can't say the same for rs3
