If you can get Grym to stand half on the platform and half off then he can become superheated multiple times in the same turn. Last time my friend and I were able to hit him with the hammer 3 times in one turn.
@justreal5588 yeah the 60 to 80 a turn was just a couple days ago in honor mode, had grym down maybe 10m, used the unarmed shock gloves you get while uncovering shadow druids
@@demarge1065 ofcourse there are plenty ways, i just showed that to those, including me and my homie who plays mage and sorcerer in multi honor mode, that you can distract/kill it with spells easly. No need monk + hill giant strength tech.
surely there is a way to do the fight as intended perfectly. it always seems like gyrm is close to getting stuck in a loop of walking from one side to the other and then getting hammered. but it never quite works out.
in honour mode as much as i love go all in like 90% times, i can't take risk for that boss. Cause as you said, sometimes my man Grym uses haste or some :D
If you use imp you dont have to use anything else, you can have imp with the Wyll. The imp have fire immunity so do not burn also fly and becomes invisible. If you become and uninvinsible around the middle the boss coming for the see him and goes around next turn after your hit like that stomp
your character portrait looks like a mugshot xD
Thats very annoying bug thankfully it solved when leveled up the character
The owlbear trick works even faster, but this is a good use of the game's mechanics.
peak of "endless options"
Thank you so much :) this worked for me and was a lot easier than some other methods I’ve tried
Im glad it worked out for you :) Welcome

yea but thats sooo bi ass "if" my friend :D i did that once and never managed again haha
That high up a tavern brawler throw build will take off 60 to 80 each round, just carry a lot of backup knives since returning weapons sometimes don't
Grym has reduced damage passive so it would take a time before you take down, i've tried :D

@justreal5588 yeah, it was funny seeing my character doing 5 dmg with a spell and then another character throw the poo scraper and do 25.
@@demarge1065Haha d&d logic mate
I plan to do a honour mode run eventually and I will likely do this as well !
good luck on your journey. Try to have 1 assassin and crouch hit enemy so you get them surprised
Wouldn´t Minor Illusion also have worked?
Would not even cost a Spell Slot.
Sure it is, but since i had them with me and you kinda can use them several times (unlike me) is more useful, so i said why not share with you
