- The Princess of Wales beamed with joy as she joined the Trooping the Colour procession, marking her first public appearance since her cancer diagnosis.
Smiling and waving to the crowds, she left Buckingham Palace in a glass carriage, accompanied by her three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
On Friday, Kate, 42, shared a heartfelt statement revealing her battle with an undisclosed form of cancer, stating she has both good and bad days as she undergoes “preventative chemotherapy.”
Acknowledging she’s “not out of the woods yet,” the Princess mentioned she’s resumed light duties and assists her children with their schoolwork whenever she feels up to it.
She expressed her excitement for King Charles’s official birthday parade, her first Royal Family appearance since Christmas Day.

Catherine is more fragile and this has made her even more elegant and graceful. Her walk and movement reminded me of Loretta young in the Bishops wife. The RF all love Catherine because she is loyal , kind , dedicated and doesn’t make everything all about her.
He sees her as his daughter. Not in law. Not his son’s wife. He could not love her more if she was his biological daughter. And I love that for him that he finally got a daughter. Diana did him such a disservice by making it out that he was a terrible, cold father who was never there for the boys. We know now it was not true. He was there, he does love them.

Neil Sean said yesterday that Charles went to see her personally earlier this week and asked her to come and said he really wanted her there ONLY if she felt like it. Prince William and Prince Charles talked about it first. The BEST PARTis he said King Charles and Catherine talk on the phone at least once EVERY DAY, sometimes three times a day.

Agree. Though the makeup could not completely disguise the darker circles under her eyes, she still looks amazing. She really has lost weight which she would be able to get bsck once she is finished with her treatments

yes. What an idiotic and irresponsible thing for Cristo to say about a perfectly fine little boy who comes from a stable and loving family. Catherine was brought up in a loving home, with parents who loved each other and their children. Catherine is very close to her very supportive parents, and also to her siblings. I think William has benefited all these many years from his relationship with the Middleton family. Diana came from an unhappy, broken home. Charles’s wonderful parents did think it was their duty to put the monarchy first, due to George VI brother’s abdication. I think this meant that Queen Elizabeth II was preoccupied with stately duties and this perhaps affected the closeness of Charles’s relationship with his parents when he was quite young and growing up. I’m sure QEII did adore her children, and she was able to have more time for the younger two children as her successful reign was by then established. The Wales’s children will all be fine and they will be a credit to their parents. As with Catherine’s parents, William and Catherine are setting a good example to their children and this is a strong foundation on which to build a solid future.

Does it really matter in the grand scheme of things if people call her Kate or Catherine, dmkane978? Remember the former Princess of Wales was called Lady Diana but the majority of people and the tabloids called her simply Lady Di. I think its a term of endearment that the people call her Kate. Whatever, in time i'm sure she will become the people's princess like our beloved Princess Diana was called. Britain will never become a republic while we have William and Catherine and their beautiful children as the future of the monarchy.
