My best tips would be use patterns to match colors! Some pieces don’t show patterns and instead select a color from the pattern to display. That way you can get a perfect match, and there’s a lot of patterns that match each other in color as well (laces and plaids). Also, I alway put in all my outfit pieces ASAP, then color them all at the end. That’s just easier for me personally
i find these themed fashion games very interesting to watch because everyone has their own ideas of what the certain theme looks like to them. i feel like most people interpret them as "what i would wear if i went to xyz" where as i interpret them as like... "xyz if they were human". for example with arcade i wouldve went with very bright colours since arcades are extremely colourful. i feel like a lot of them are also rlly basic because the playerbase is 90% literal children lmao

A tip I would give you is to add a lot of accessories! Layer necklaces, add bows, and any other accessories that might fit with the theme!
