Papaverine | Synthesis of Papaverine | Application of Isoquinoline

In this lecture we will discuss about papaverine and synthesis of papaverine. Papaverine is an alkaloid extracted from black pepper. Alkaloid is a natural product in organic chemistry that contains at least one nitrogen containing heterocyclic compounds. Papaverine is alkali in nature and is used for the relaxation of blood vessels for good circulation of blood. so we can say that papaverine is used to treat problems resulting from poor blood circulation. In this lecture we will learn about the mechanism of papaverine synthesis in detail and application of isoquinoline.
