Meaning of Vajra Guru Mantra.
The Vajra Guru Mantra is the mantra associated with Guru Rinpoche, also known as Padmasambhava. This is a draft translation of a treasure text which explains the Vajra Guru Mantra. It was originally concealed during the time of Padmasambhava in Tibet and later rediscovered by Karma Lingpa (14th century) who brought it forth from its place of concealment and copied it down on reams of gold. It is simply known as "The Syllable by Syllable Commentary Explaining the Benefits of the Vajra Guru Mantra." It begins with an invocation and then goes into a dialogue between Yeshe Tsogyal, the spiritual consort of Padmasambhava, and Padmasambhava himself.
OṂ ĀḤ HŪṂ VAJRA GURU PADMA SIDDHI HŪṂ
OṂ ĀḤ HŪṂ is the supreme essence of enlightened body, speech and mind.
VAJRA is the supreme essence of the Vajra Family.
GURU is the supreme essence of the Ratna Family.
PADMA is the supreme essence of the Padma Family.
SIDDHI is the supreme essence of the Karma Family.
HŪṂ is the supreme essence of the Buddha Family.
OṂ ĀḤ HŪṂ VAJRA GURU PADMA SIDDHI HŪṂ
OṂ is the complete Sambhogakāya of the Five Buddha Families.
ĀḤ is the complete unchanging Dharmakāya.
HŪṂ is the complete Nirmāṇakāya-Guru Rinpoche.
VAJRA is the complete assembly of Heruka deities.
GURU is the complete assembly of Lama Awareness Holder deities.
PADMA is the complete assembly of Ḍākinīs and powerful female deities.
SIDDHI is the heart of all the wealth deities and protectors of hidden treasures.
HŪṂ is the heart of each and every Dharma protector.

OṂ ĀḤ HŪṂ is the heart of the three classes of tantra.
VAJRA is the heart of the Vinaya and Sūtra.
GURU is the heart of the Abhidharma and the Kriyā Yoga.
PADMA is the heart of the Upā and Yoga Tantras.
SIDDHI is the heart of the Mahā and Anu Yogas.
HŪṂ is the heart of the Dzogchen Ati Yoga.

OṂ ĀḤ HŪṂ purifies obscurations of the three mental poisons.
VAJRA purifies obscurations of hatred and aversion.
GURU purifies obscurations of pride.
PADMA purifies obscurations of craving and attachment.
SIDDHI purifies obscurations of jealousy.
HŪṂ purifies obscurations of delusion and disturbing emotions.

OṂ ĀḤ HŪṂ grants the attainment of the three kāyas.
VAJRA grants the attainment of mirror-like wisdom.
GURU grants the attainment of the wisdom of equanimity.
PADMA grants the attainment of the wisdom of discernment.
SIDDHI grants the attainment of all-accomplishing wisdom.
HŪṂ grants the attainment of all that stems from primordial wisdom.

OṂ ĀḤ HŪṂ subdues gods, spirits, and human beings.
VAJRA conquers the gandharvas and fire spirits.
GURU conquers the lord of death and demonic spirits.
PADMA conquers the harmful water gods and spirits who reign over the mind.
SIDDHI conquers the powerful demons who haunt mountain ranges and passes.
HŪṂ conquers the planetary demons and gods of localities.

By OṂ ĀḤ HŪṂ, the six transcendent perfections are accomplished.
By VAJRA, all peaceful activities are accomplished.
By GURU, all enriching activities are accomplished.
By PADMA, all magnetizing activities are accomplished.
By SIDDHI, all enlightened activities are accomplished.
By HŪṂ, all wrathful activities are accomplished.

OṂ ĀḤ HŪṂ averts the dagger sorcery of Buddhists and Bönpos.
VAJRA averts the harmful powers of the wisdom deities.

SIDDHI averts the harmful powers of nāgas and gods of localities.

Its a honeur: remenissing on HOW did i get into Hindy & Buddhist traditons acting involved. . . i remeber some great teachers inthenow THEN who related to Buddhas wisdom & Joi. Me. as a gardener (then) learning my skills. . . .got a Yantra: didnt know what it ment BUT. Its was in my room of 2,5m X 4m the only "thing', on my wall. I painted the ceeling licht-blue, the walls a pinkey jellow. I would work, went home. sit in buddhapostrure & stare at this Thanka. My music was Art Garfunkels: I onley have eyes for You. Can jou imagine? a girl of 16/17 jear. . . .On my bike in the morningdew trough the forrest. . . . . working with 5 brothers driving a truck, chansawing trees, picking the weeds & staring how flowers come into seeds. . . . wondering.
What happens INSIDE that flower? that is growing into seed? What is a seed made of? & evenings staring at: what i know now is the Wheel of Life. good gracious! Im 40 jears in my profession. I told my kids. become a gardener: make the paradise. I would sing them whole day mantras when they are little, later on CD while their homeworking.

Thanks lot for helping me with bad situations. I live in Germany and I am paralyzed up to my stomag since 26 years after a suicide attempt jumping from the top of a hotel roof in Bangkok. But I can still feel my legs. Now laying in bed after 16 months cause of a couple of complications my right leg is broken with a heavy infection, lots of pain an has to be amputated. This beautiful mantra eased really the physical pain and gives me inner peace. Thank you for your great compassion. Thanks, thanks and all the best wishes for your family and companion. Love.... Guru Rinpoche Bless you and May His teachings further help you on your path 🙏🏻 (His teachings are read wisely n in a very peaceful voice by a nun in her youtube channel called Samaneri Jayasara - Wisdom of the Masters) and do also check out Master Shi Heng Yi(youtube channel shihengyi online) from Shaolin Temple Europe in Germany, his teachings lend alot of strength for mental resilience and there are also some qigong exercises that can be done sitting down and will help improve your health.. I'm a firm believer in Vajra Guru Mantra it clears my inner blocks. I feel it all the time because when I listen to it the muscle of inner side of my palm twitches as if to release the blocks within my body. So grateful to hear it. It is so familiar and soothes my mind and body. 🙏🙏🙏
