Patch is used to update the data... For patch u need the data already present and u can update anything in that data entry.. Suppose u already have a user profile created then u can update say first name or last name by put/patch... Hot Fix is the fix provided instantly by the dev team nd deployed to the production. Say suppose u r testing in production nd if a bug is found nd that needs to be fixed immediately then dev team provides a hot fix nd that gets deployed to the prod. Epic is basically your main requirement.. And from that epic there will be user stories.
