Bandit being Jupiter Chili being The Sun Bandit being Jupiter is pretty good reason mostly for space geeks Jupiter has a big gravitational force and is basically the sun but mini and Jupiter in real life is able to pull Asteroids away from earth and meteors keeping Earth safe Chili being the sun keeping Bingo and Bluey safe with her warmth and happiness and making sure the two stay warm and comfortable and she will be always be with them no matter what
This episode had me crying so much. I never felt that warmth and safeness from my parents and had to surpress my deep desire and natural wish for these things. It finally came up 🥺🥹
It hits like a bullet when you realize at the end of the episode when Chilli(The Sun) says ‘I’ll always be here for you, even if you can’t see me because I love you’ that she isn’t just talking to Bingo she’s also talking to her miscarried baby(The unhatched planet Mercury)
Maybe but I think this was just for bingo. This show does a good job of showing something subtle to convey something between the lines. Full attention was on bingo and her alone all through the episode.
@@wendyeames5758you know for a long time it was ranked the number one episode of any show ever on IMDb. I think it’s currently number 8 (probably due to recency bias). A filmmaker once told me this episode is a thesis in making a short movie with relatively little dialogue, and perfectly encapsulates the relatively complex story of a typical night in a family household mixed with the esoteric and magical insight into Bingo’s dream, and how the two are intertwined. Mix in the emotional rollercoaster of bingo being alone then given the warm hug of the sun/mum, plus the sensational soundtrack based on Holst’s Jupiter, and basically this is a masterpiece, and probably very underrated for its artistry. I agree, golden globe territory.
I have to let this one out: The episode showed the importance of my past, present, and future. Past because it made me recognize once again about my parents love for me. Present, because as a new parent, it gave me a goal to be the very warmth for our daughter. Future, because she'll grow up eventually out from her cruel world, but we'll always be right there for her. Like our parents has been there for us.
Now I”m sure you already know this. The music in this episode was composed by Gustav Holst. He also composed the music for the Christmas Carol In The Bleak Midwinter which was based on a 19th century poem written by Christina Rossetti.
All of the Holtz movements are good. Jupiter is by far one of the best, but if you want a real rush listen to the Mars movement. If you like Star Wars and John Williams, you will like that one. John Williams was inspired alot by that piece. 😊😊😊😊😊
Thanks so much for this. This is all the relaxing bits of the episode, and we can sort of imagine the episode and storyline (which we know off by heart obviously) while the kids drift off to sleep, without any of the really stimulating visuals or dialogue.
Me: A twenty-year-old college student with no children, nieces, or nephews. Also me: Why is this episode of a cartoon dog sleeping and dreaming making me so emotional?
I agree, it's funny both episodes are mostly without words. But so each is full of emotion and storytelling without it being told to you. You just feel the story. ❤
18:29 I vow to thee, my country, all earthly things above Entire and whole and perfect, the service of my love The love that asks no question, the love that stands the test That lays upon the altar, the dearest and the best The love that never falters, the love that pays the price The love that makes undaunted the final sacrifice And there's another country, I've heard of long ago Most dear to them that love her, most great to them that know We may not count her armies, we may not see her king Her fortress is a faithful heart, her pride is suffering And soul by soul, and silently her shining bounds increase And her ways are ways of gentleness, and all her paths are peace Farewell to Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II 1926-2022 May you be once again with your beloved Philip
Im using this for a astrology game on scratch (Little Star: Solar System Trip) but i havent finished it yet, but in the game youll be able to: Read small facts about the planets and sun Play minigames And see mini episodes or stories (if i have enough time to make it)
I think when the Sun was saying "I'll always be here for you even if you can't see me", was not Chilli saying, it it was God. I mean you see your mother everyday, and you don't see God everyday. I know this show isn't faith based, but that's just how I interpret it.
WOW this blew up quick!! i mainly did this for my own sleepy time but i’m so glad to see that other people like this too!! ily all /p
Putting my grandson to sleep with this right now 😊❤

The whole Sleepytime episode hit me so different that I just burst into tears when she reached the sun (Mom). It was so much for me to handle
For real 😔.
Agreed. Great representation of a mother’s love 🥹☀️

:O woah that's so cool tysm for telling me this!! (i love outer space sm!)
My guess would be Nicole Oliver, the actor of Princess Celestia
This episode had me crying so much. I never felt that warmth and safeness from my parents and had to surpress my deep desire and natural wish for these things. It finally came up 🥺🥹
To add to that, being deep in the core of Jupiter represents the protection of dad as he holds her in his arms.
I absolutely cannot watch this episode without bawling my eyes out: when the music swells right before the sun I lose it 😭
❤ Same!
Same ❤😢
I remember this episode and it used to make me cry as a kid
For those of you wondering, this song is a rendition of Holst's "Jupiter, bringer of Jollity" from "The Planets"!!!
Thank you!
No lie, I sense “I vow to thee, my country”.
(I love replying to year old comments)
Thank you for this. My ten-month-old is obsessed with the music from this episode and gets ✨hyped✨ every time it comes on. She’s gonna love this.

18:29
I vow to thee, my country, all earthly things above
Entire and whole and perfect, the service of my love
The love that asks no question, the love that stands the test
That lays upon the altar, the dearest and the best
The love that never falters, the love that pays the price
The love that makes undaunted the final sacrifice
And there's another country, I've heard of long ago
Most dear to them that love her, most great to them that know
We may not count her armies, we may not see her king
Her fortress is a faithful heart, her pride is suffering
And soul by soul, and silently her shining bounds increase
And her ways are ways of gentleness, and all her paths are peace
