Finally someone who pronounces the name almost correctly. Thank you ma'am. An American, no less. Today's Dutch spelling would be "Schuilkill" because of the grammar being reformed quite a few (hundred) years ago. The sound in Dutch today would be, in phonetic American; "Schowlkill" with the "ch" sounding like popcorn stuck in the throat 🍿 and the "owl" part sounding like a true blue hooter 🦉
