My family are all Methodist, and they are supportive of my conversion to Holy Orthodoxy. And this specific topic has worried and made me stressed to think of. But with what you have said, I now have faith. Thank you, Bojan. May God bless you.
I think there are definitely merits of grace for those that support their children in conversion. Pray for them. We are bound by God’s sacraments but God is not bound by his sacraments.
Thank you Bojan. I had a friend named Nicole who was moving towards the church but not quite there yet, and she recently died in a car accident. I still worry and pray for her quite a lot, but what you said about God loving our loved ones more than we do really helped me. It helps to hear that sometimes. Thank you, and Glory to God, and, if you can, please pray for her.
Thanks for the video Bojan, I worry about this as well and I particularly like your spiritual father's comment on we will never love our friends and family as much as God does. Much love from the US.
Acts 16:31 says "Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved, you and your household" which could imply that your family is automatically saved if one person is a true believer.
This is a beautiful video and simple in explaining God’s infinite justice and mercy, which is not understood by man’s mind. The pious may be in proud and vainglorious folly but even the blasphemer can be saved.
I feel the same. My parents and my whole extended family are either die hard Protestant or Atheists. My brother and I are the only Catholics, very worried for them
Also, Christ said not everyone that says Lord, Lord will enter the Kingdom of God as well He said that the gates are narrow not wide. And He also said that few will enter the Kingdom of God. That being said God’s mercy is far greater than we can comprehend and we can be confident that those who have not heard the gospel throughout the ages will at least have the chance to accept Christ the Savior in the Last Judgement.
Worried About the Salvation of Ariel(not her real name a j-rock star),two table tennis players, a diver (acrobatics) ,and a badminton player then my father
Bojan I have a question; I encountered a friend who said (along the lines of) “I’d choose to go to hell so my family/friends could go to heaven,” and they also said “How could I be happy in heaven if my family is in hell?” I was wondering how you would handle such questions
I worry about the salvation of my family & friends (&, of course, myself) but I don't think our earthly relationships will matter if we do make it to Heaven. It's not that your loved ones don't matter or that their salvation doesn't matter but that the earthly bonds of blood & kinship do not necessarily carry over into Heaven. As Jesus said in answer to the Sadducees who asked Him about the resurrection, in Heaven, there is neither married or unmarried (Matthew 22:23-33), so I imagine the same would be true for other relationships. It's not that we won't care about our loved ones & their final judgment, but I think we'll be so subsumed by the power & glory of God that we no longer have any bonds but to Him.
*Copied from previous post* Search on Facebook to see if there are in Orthodox groups in your general area. There may be other people like you who are desiring to become Orthodox. If there is a group get in touch with them, if not start one and try spending the word around. Often times if a group of 20 or so people come to together in an area where there is no Orthodox Church a jurisdiction will fund the building of one. If you can find enough brothers or sisters in your area get in contact with a bishop from the nearest jurisdiction (even if it’s a neighboring country) and ask if they will fund your group, and send a priest to assist. I know this sounds like a lot of work but many new parishes are founded in this manner. In the mean time buy an Orthodox prayer book, a Bible, and print off/purchase some icons and immerse yourself in Orthodoxy at your house.
This a very interesting subject: Catholics , as we learn, know our faith is never for our self alone. We are told when we sin, we do so against self, others, and against the church. Our faith is a shared experience. None of my own sins come just from me, but are inherited from others, society. I would expect my plea to god, my faith that wraps up my life extends out to others as our sins. I was brought to understand evil is indifference, meaning not attending to what one knows in faith and works. (Ex: mom and dad convince son to join army. In 6 months , he is injured ptsd , plus loses arm. He comes home. Family gives him 6 months to deal with it... then family gets hostile because junior is moody. No girl will have him. Dad kicks him out of house. Junior commits suicide. This is a shared sin as well as personal... say junior is all of a sudden ( horribly) Catholic. No other family member attends. Junior without realizing.. brings grace and salvation to others).
Can you get out of hell in orthodoxy? I know it's a stupid question but other christian religions say that if you don't believe in Jesus you'll will not be saved. according to the Scriptures

You should pray for your family. Who knows, maybe God placed you where you are for just this purpose.
Love that!

What's her name, we will pray for her
Much love and many prayers for your diagnosis, Bojan! I remember you in every Rosary!
A level concern Is necessary and we should be fearful and scared, but we should also know that the Lord is merciful.

Oh I hope so
Nope
Yes but immediately after the Apostles shared the gospel with and baptised the jailer and his household.
God will do his miracle! Don't loose your hope!
First (again)
By the way, I watch your videos and they’re amazing, please keep doing it.
- Love from a Devoted Catholic😊
Possibly my favorite video of yours yet.
My family mostly Anglicans. I am fine with this but they still try to stop me from converting into Orthodoxy.
I thought Anglicans were fond of Orthodoxy, I guess a few of them aren't.
Why?
Get well soon Bojan!

Very wise words, Bojan.
This has given me hope.
Precisely the intention of the video ;-)

As long as the belief in christ they will be ok, denomination doesnt matter
@@chellenge6490 Mormons believe in a false version of Christ.
@@lpetarp3915 false, jesus said their will be many false christs. The Protestant christ, calvinist christ, the arian christ
Peri if their Christology is Orthodox then there’s hope

That's some nice audio.
How do I get a Spiritual Father?
it would be kind of a boomer if i end up in hell and there someplace else xDDD
I worry. Worry is NOT trusting God. So I think of that & realise my arrogance in my worry. 🙏🙏😄
Well I think God will ask me this why you didn't prayed for your family, why didn't you explained them about orthodox.
