    In Excel you can copy that 0.57 cell, highlight the table and use "Paste Special" to divide/multiply the whole table by your scaling factor.
    Just mentioning in case you don't know. Could save you a little time.

    Great video! I just left those clips off the injectors and instead zip tied the electrical rail down onto the injectors. Way easier to remove next time.

    would you be able to do videos on things like adding more aggressive cams/m50 manifold/big MAF? learning a lot from your videos but worry about starting my already modified S52 on too much of a unsimilar base tune. i want to convert it from OBD1 to OBD2 so i can tune it but would like to learn the proper way to dial in the tune for the various parts. ive considered the speeduino youve worked on but i think the first step would be to get it working/get experience with tuning the MS41 first

    Very good video! By doing this are you making the larger injectors inject the same amount of fuel as the original ones? I have supercharged my e36 323 m52 runnig about 4psi, m50 manifold, 328 exhuast. I have upgraded to 36lb white giant injector. Do i need to do this or will they just inject more fuel straight away under the same fuel pressure?

    I've been watching the videos and love the work . Just have a question . If the m52b28 us model and s52b32 us model both use the same.injectors but the fuel map is different couldn't you run the s52 map ?

    pazi , thank you for the great material, can you help m understand how setting forced induction target AFRs say 11 or 12:1 in the fuel tables will not conflict with closed loop operation? will the feedback from the lambda integrators ( oxygen sensors ) override the set target AFR and cause the ECU to go lean , to 14.7??
    so in other words, if i am able to calculate my target injector pulse width in millisecond that corresponds to my target AFR for a turbo application ( math calculation from injector size and air flow rate )
    how do i make sure that the ECU does not ignore this value and try to stay at 14.7 following the input from the narrow band oxygen sensors?

      You need to tune the main fuel map to 14.7 AFR for closed loop operation. And then you calculate WOT enrichment map to your desired AFR. More here: romraider.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=58&t=13969

      @@pazi88 got it so rescale the for the bigger injectors 1st , which theoretically will keep the factory original AFRs THEN use full load enrichment tables to achieve target AFRs, by telling the ECU to run full load enrichment as early as boost comes, is this correct?

    Hi pazi, you helped me with timing my m50 cam, now can you help me with this? 😁 If the revlimit is raised to 7000rpm, should I raise the last fuel table from 6500 to 7000rpm (and ignition tables aswell) so she has fuel all the way to the top?

    pazi we need to thank you all your work! only 1 stupid question..with the final adaptations..now your car runs the same like with the stocks injectors, true? and when you want more mods and HP then you have to tune again your injectors raising the maps..

If the injectors and fuel axis is enough there is no need to tune the fuel maps if they are once set. it's MAF based system so if the engine sucks in more fuel than before after mods, the ECU will know and injects correct amount of fuel.

    I've watched several of your videos about tuning and they are great. Thank you for the work you have done. I have some thoughts about the fuel tables. They should be divided by 14.7/9.8 when changing from gasoline to e85 because the have different stoich afrs. Or you already did than when calculating the injector sizes?

      Yeah pretty much. Add 40% more fuel for e85 and you are done. But in this video I used the injectors for pump gas at first so I didn't do that.

      bastabouze33 m52tu is with double vanos and not ms41. It's ms42. But still both should run 13.5-12.5 AFR at WOT as stock.

      Yes it was crazy 14,7 at wot !!! I bought this dme whithout WSE and a tune. And I wanted to add so more fuel. I use tunerpro for tuning.

      Kiitoksia. Tuo moottorinohjaus tarkkailee seossuhdetta lamda anturilla ja jos sen pitää esim. koko ajan rikastaa seosta että se pysyy halutussa seossuhteessa, se asettaa tarvittavan rikastuksen adaptaatio arvoksi. Jolloin seuraavalla kerralla kun koneen lyö käyntiin, se käy automaattisesti oikeilla seoksilla. Moottorinohjaus siis adaptoituu aina käytettävälle polttoaineelle tiettyjen rajojen sisässä. Noita adaptaatioita voi sit käyttää hyväksi säädettäessä.

      Nisqaa Joo jos adaptaatiot on nolla, niin peruskartoilla seos pyörii 14.7 tienoilla kuten pitää. WOT rikastukselka seosta sitten rikastetaan kaasu pohjassa, jotta saavutetaan maksimitehot, koska 14.7 seos on optimi vain päästöjen ja kulutuksen osalta. 13.5 seos antaa vaparissa parhaat tehot.

    Tuli tälläinen mieleen, että oletko sinä putsannut suuttimia milläänlailla? Itsellä työnkohteena e34 m50 koneella, josta aattelin tässä samalla putsata suuttimet, kun teen muutakin huoltoa.
    Mielessä kävi jos suuttimet upottais osittain sinolilla täytettyyn ultraäänipesuriin ja vielä kytkimellä ohjaisi suuttimia kiinni auki. Mitäs oisit tuollaisesta ideasta mieltä? :D

      Joo pitäisi onnistua tuolla ultraääni pesurilla. Mulla itelläkin on hallilla oottamassa ultraäänipesurin rakennussarja, että vois suuttimia pestä, mutta en oo kerenny sitä ihmetteleen.

    Pazi have you also figured out to scale a different mass air flow sensor? like a blow through hpx slot style?

      Yes. Under sensors scaling there is MAF map which is from 0 to 5 volts. You can use excel to make 256 point MAF scalar from HPX MAF scalar that they provide.

    Can you just switch the lambda cables at 03:00? Because I had the same problem with ebay headers...

      Vander Zande No. those are per bank. The engine management wont work if the lambda cables are mixed.

    When I open the F6 function on RomRaider logger to see adaptations, there is no A/F, it says there is no definitions, but the knock adaptation is working ok, (and too much adaptations for my liking), using the xml available on forums, any tip?

      Complementing: EU 328i 1996, manual, MS41.0, software 1432401 (I think that´s the software).
      Also, can someone point me on instructions on how can I clone my DME to another spare unit I have? Tried full read and write, but the spare still have the OEM Vin on it, I want a full backup, even with my EWS, is that possible?

    Seems like height difference is just 0.2mm from O-ring to O-ring. Resistance the same.
    I believe this should also work for M50 with chipping?

      Stig's Mauritian Cousin Unfortunately you can't get the flashtool anymore. The creator has recently passed away and there is no one that can continue selling the tools. I haven't yet got time to update the descriptions and I need to do video about other tools you could use.

    Hi! I see in your videos that you divide the adaptation values by 2. Why is that? Also, do you have some info/ video on using MS41 Quickflash? I bought it but the info out there is pretty limited... Thank you!

      Because for some reason Testo/inpa shows the adaptations double as what they really are. RomRaider logger shows real values. The ms41 quickflash is pretty much the same as ms41 flash tool. It only looks different, but works the same.

      pazi88 thank you. Inpa shows -10 multiply values on both banks. So that is actually -5%... I can't wait to try the rr logger! ( currently in the process of setting up a new laptop).
      One more question if I may: jumping 14 and 18 on the obd connector is just for writing or is it necessary for reading as well?

      after studying a bit more, i have one question. the 150/261 g/min/3 bar value that you take. is that the N-heptane or the petrol value?
      Also, in my M52B28, can i be sure that it uses the 150 g/min from stock? it allready has different injectors but i think i should upgrade to bigger ones. i am running fomoco 8A6G-AA injectors atm.
      are you still active on the romraider forums? I will start a topic with the username ET89.

      I don't remember which one is it. But it's not critical. The calculation just gets you to ballpark. You need to fine tune the maps in any case.

      agreed, but i think a more accurate calculation in advance will give a better starting point the difference between the N-heptane and the petrol value is 14,47g/min. i've found out that the 150 g/min@3bar is the N-heptane value. so my starting point will be to compare this to the 480cc=328g/min@3bar. will this change in the ECU also adjust my average fuel consumption readings on my Board computer?

      Yes it works, if it has the FTDI chip inside. If it doesn't, not all software's work.

    I'm getting my S54 tuned in a few weeks by a company, i don't know what system they use to tune. but do you know if you can normally change the fueling so 5th overfuels to get some pops and bangs on overrun?

    Nice and cheap. But Can you recommend me some fuel injectors for turbo use? A lot of people use Siemens Deka EV1 or I found Bosch EV14 980cc with long tip. Are some that you recommend?

      Almost all genuine Siemens and Bosch injectors are good. Just stay away from Chinese knockoffs. Injectors are so critical component that you need them to be good quality.

      Sorry I don't fully understand. But you can't directly use ms41 instead of bosch dme. The sensors and wiring loom is different.

    That's nice if anyone can help me I got a BMW 330 manual, probably I swapped it to 30 and it has ms43 ecu I'm familiar with rom raider and used it before but I try to add pops and bangs I'm sure I'm doing the whole process correctly after writing the tuned file I don't get any pops and bangs please help me, it has headers and straight pipe I do the same tune on ms42 525 everything goes right but not with the ms43, I got some dtc about catalyc converter but I already removed it does dtc off helps? Or what should I do, thanks for helping nice video!

    hi, i have 98 323ti with m50 manifold, m54b0 assembly, m52b28 injectors , m54 intake and m50 nv intake cams and stock ecu
    i have kwp 2000 + i connected pin 18 and 14 , 2 and 17 to flash my ecu than i flashed my ecu with first try than i improved the ignition than tried to change it but to night i try to flash again my ecu than i failed car wasnt launching i cant read my ecu ass well, than i unplug the battary cable and pluged it car launched but still i cant read or write it fails with diffirent errors , when i try to read and write car stops launching because of fuel pomp not acitiveting i think. now i dont know wich map in my car the one with 7000 rpm limit and too much ignition adv or same one with less ignition adv car still revs up to 7k. i dont know what to do now :(
    in first and second trys it gived me errors too but when i tried again it succesed

      The problem is that you are using kwp2000+ which works very poorly. You should use the tools that I mentioned in the video (there is also links in the description) to make sure that everything works. You have probably bricked your ECU and need to buy new one.

      so if my ecu is bricked , do i need same part number ecu or some other ecu? because the prat number is uniuqe only used for 323tis , can you tell me my ecu is fixable? because car still runs normal but odd things happen when i try to read or write , in my last try i did write new map the one with the less ignition adv kwp program said it is done but i cant read it to correct kwp... i m gonna try to write orginal map back to see if red line drops to 6.5 k again .. . i dont want to blow up my engine its been 2k km since its rebuilted with new parts .thanks for the help :).

      If it works, then it's not yet bricked. I would ditch the kwp2000 and try the flash tool with obd cable.

      Mikhail Kuznetsov No. But it's about big as you can bore the stock tb. Maybe 1,5 - 2 mm wall thickness.

    03:05 the answer on my question, thanks :D You only paid 70 USD for 8 injectors? because I saw Bosch EV6 injectors and the genuine are like 50-60 euro for one injector..

      Grzegorz K Because the adaptation added 6% more fuel. 1.06 == 106% == +6% so he added 6% of fuel to the whole map.

      Yes I forgot to say that I need to enrich maps by 6% which means multiplying by 1.06. RUclips doesn't anymore allow to add annotations to videos to fix minor mistakes.

    jos excel on englanniks, desimaalierotin on piste ja jos suomeks, desimaalierotin on pilkku. Sitte ku vaihtaa tuolta system separaattorista ni se vasta sekasin onkin

      Ei oo excelin kielestä kiinni. Se lukee vaan mikä windowssissa on asetettu separaattoriksi. Tuolla asetuksella voi ohittaa windowsin asetuksen. Mulla on windows ja ohjelmat englanniksi, mutta piste/pilkku asetukset suomalaiset, niin en tiedä sekoileeko sen vuoksi. Mut taas kotikoneella, jossa on win10 pelaa ilman ongelmia samoilla asetuksilla.

    Virtually calculated values in Excel will give very approximate values of stoichiometry, high fuel consumption and low efficiency!
    Why cheat the viewer! ???
    Change the name of the video to "maybe it’s possible to stick large nozzles. I can’t vouch for the consequences!"

      The excell calculated value will give close enough value to use the injectors. The long term adaptation in ecu will do the rest to give correct AFR. Of course further fine tuning will give better result, but I haven't got time to do follow up video.

    I am using premium fuel 95 and will install bigger cams soon, any advice what injectors I can use? I am not looking for double than what I have but something more that maybe can run with close to stock tune?

      With just regular bigger cams, no no need to change injectors

      @@robertking1032 No. Unless you are running out of injectors. Which you aren't with those mods.
