@ well the whole tournament was on the rlcs channel with playoffs and everything, i just think itd be a little silly to play the whole thing on LAN with 3v3 already happening. That would absolutely torch the budget for normal rlcs

As of the context of it being in 2025, Mawkzy is far more deserving - I think the original comment didn't take the context of it being 2025, but as an overall title for the history of Rocket League, if that makes sense

He should go all in for the 1v1 worldchampionships, and (if he wins) after that consider to tweak his style a bit and try to join a team. I think he should really give it a go, or he could end up regretting it later on, not knowing whether he could have competed in the main event. He could be very useful for a lot of teams with his skillset. He's very good at 50s, has a physical play style which would certainly benefit his teammates. He will never be a mechanical wizkid, but players like Monkey Moon prove you don't have to be in order to be successful.
Mawkzy is very mechanical, he just knows that it isn’t the best playstyle in 1s since it is too risky. Before this 1v1 major, he was just a content creator, this is his first time on stage, he still has a long way to go. I don’t think Mawkzy will ever try to compete seriously in 3s since it’s not his game mode and with 1s rlcs he can now be considered as a pro player. But I agree about the fact that a bit of training he could be helpful for a lot of teams
