EARL... I noticed you didn’t loctite the diff screws or did you just use the original factory loctite? Just a observation on my part,,,,,great truck,,,,,🇺🇸👈

Great video Earl...question...What benefit is it to switch the spur gear to the smaller one? I installed the 800kv castle xlx2 in my Kraton EXB 1/5, running 32t pinion, performance is a little slow. I'm thinking going 45t. For Father's day the wife got me EXB outcast, I have a Max 5 combo..all your help is appreciated. Thanks for the info!
Can’t fit a 45tooth with stock spur as the motor pushes out the side not enough to adjustment 44 is the biggest but with 800 kv it does on 44t and stock spur I like more air control so I gear up even more the motor rpm is super low
Wow that's like a real car with all those big parts. Do you have to take out the whole engine mount and everything just to get to the diff? You can't just slide it out like the 6S rigs? I know u can just slide the motor in and out easy. But the center diff wow alot of work looks like that's the only way to get her out.

Probably just gonna put throw 5 runs before I check everything out. That 20M looks glue lol I hope it's pure silicone. I use 200k for my EXB center and she went about 20 runs before I changed it. Yes all black of course but all gears inside were perfect.

Hi hello buddy I've just bought myself the arrma outcast exb roller 8s just like yours this week I know it's 2 yrs on this videos old now but need some advice please. I just opened the difference case like you have charged the stock spur 46t to 39t I'm going to run 23t for mow buddy. The other problems Im having is once I've put silicone ear plugs in 2 of then. Which is cool 😎. Then I pop it all back together. With the black rubber down forwards . Then I start to tight up the 5 screws on the back. Once I tight them. The pinion plus the spur won't move around for some reason. Not sure why this is happening any help will be brilliant 👍👏😀 Thank you 😊
Use ONE pair of the unused ones. They have saved me SOOOO MUCH, brother. i pop a set in my ears before Mom and daughter leave home to go shopping and wow do they work well! i can't hear a single request for a credit card or cash or venmo transfer on their way out the door. It's frackin' glorio.. oh wait. they work really well on diffs. that's my story and i'm stickin' to it.
A fine tipped 90w soldering iron works best for concentrated heat and not having to worry about melting or cooking the bearings.

I did lock tight them I just didn’t add the footage due to how long the video was getting 👍👍👍but thanks for noticing 💪💪

My outcast is set up that way as well use the optional spur and a 37 tooth pinion

You ever have any binding with the center diff mine has some nasty locking in it and I’ve torn it down can’t really figure it out
Yes had a lot of issues with the ExB differential till I went to alum diff housing
What company did you go with just looking to get rid of the problems

I run earplugs in my center differential fir the 1/5th line and 100k front and rear
