Don't know why but my elephant ended up with his hind legs a bit longer than the front ones. Had to shorter them a bit by folding them inside and not it looks just fine.

Leyla, I appreciate your origami tutorials so much! I only started doing origami a little over 2 weeks ago. Usually when I start a new hobby, I get so frustrated that I want to give up early on, but I've kept with it, and your instruction is phenomenal. You make even the more complicated designs achievable because of the way you explain everything so clearly. This elephant was the hardest design I've attempted so far; it was difficult, but I completed it, and I'm so proud! Thank you so much!

This tutorial was incredible. I saw the length of the vid and thought "24mins!? Why!? This is going to be so harrddd" but the way you walked us through it was perfect. Everytime u made a mirror fold u flipped the model and never rotated it to a strange angle. You also used and incredible amount of reference lines. I never thought I could fold a paper elephant. By my second attempt I was using 3" paper and making little bitty ones! Thank you!

By far one of my top favorite animal models! I nearly tore it hugging it with joy after managing to fold it! It is a bit tricky around the ears, it needs more loose paper there so that the ear looks more natural and less stressed. I will most likely fold a whole herd of these wonderful elephants! ^____^b Thank you for yet another fabulous tutorial!

i finished it though and my boyfriend likes it a bunch so that's pretty nice

Finished, looks pretty good too. Like others, I have struggled to find good origami instructions online and yours is the best I have found. Easy to follow, clear and good fun. Thanks. Do you do a giraffe by any chance?
