Admittedly, i would have given it too,
but in the replays you could clearly see how both have massive understeer and both sailed off track by themselves.
Claiming special treatment is just a completely lost take tho.

Nevertheless, i needs saying that Leclerc didnt make that corner anyway since he had the same massive understeer as Max. You can see on the replay how both the Ferrari and the Red Bull just not want to turn in.
But special treatment is some grade a trash statement.
What makes me kinda unhappy is the way how they have already decided the "true" outcome of the situation without watching a replay and already started slagging of the FIA for giving out said special treatment because they "havent done anything" by lap 2, while there were two collisions and two spins directly in the first corner, 10 cars going off track and them deciding if they sent out the vsc.
Maybe, just maybe, they had something more important to attend to.

the 1st night was a rubish time, fp3 was neither here nor there, quali was interesting & then to be fair the race was incredibly fun, everything was set up for it not to be & yet the conditions seemed to be just right, okay yeah Max wins again, but he fought for it rather than just pissing off.
in my head i always hear rocketpoweredmohawk say "and then max fucked off into the distance"

I usually watch the replays never ever skipped a second on your videos guys, except this one. I was happy when I saw spanner, but when I saw the guy beside him I kept skipping him remarks. His bios and unrealistic suggestions is just too much.
It would have been annoying to watch it live for the constant cult cry, but it's kinda funny watching it after the fact.....BTW like the show but the amount of hamilton fanboy guests kinda makes it hard to do so....

Should Ferrari have pitted Leclerc on the same lap as Verstappen the first time he pitted? Did they even have enough time to make that decision? Verstappen would've come out of the pits 5 secs behind Leclerc at that point....
What a race! I think I'd rate it a 9/10.
Leclerc had a massive tyre advantage, he extended the medium stint to a one stop with 5 lap fresher tyres than Max and was comfortably ahead. The strategy was perfect and unbeatable before the safety car came out and Max pit for fresh tyres and Leclercs hards went through a very damaging heat cycle.

36:56 Something I haven't seen other people call out with that 315K attendance number is the fact that it says "Formula 1 Lenovo United States Grand Prix", you know COTA. The Vegas race is officially called "Formula 1 Heineken Sliver Las Vegas Grand Prix". Idk if it was a mistake, or an attempt to be deceptive. But it also just to happens to be the same number of attendees as COTA this year while having much less space for GA which comprises of the majority of ticket sales.
