Everything Riley does , whether it's riding, roping, stacking hay, delivering water, working cattle, or maneuvering the big rig, he just looks , like he has been doing it for 40 years. There is an old soul inside that cowboys body. GO Riley!
I have so much respect for you and your wife. Y’all are raising some amazing children and teaching them so many great skills along the way. My favorite channel on RUclips, I really just enjoy watching these kids learn and blossom into great humans. Great job Mom and Dad!
I know you love all of your children equally! They're great people!!! But, when you need a man to work beside you to get a man size job completed it seems to be Riley who always shows up and helps complete the task! Though he's an adolescent he does the work of 2 full size men! You've taught him well! I'm so impressed with that young man's ability, willingness to help and always just being dependable for you! Great job Riley!!!
The kids are growing up so fast! What are their ages now? Look at Riley go. I’m so impressed. He’s so confident in all he does, I Just admire you all so much.
Westerns and black and white just seem right to me. I was raised on them back in the early days of television, and I watch them now on DVDs as if they were new. Riley is doing well to learn the nearly lost trucking art of shifting gears.
Food for thought. Try to carry a few tool's in all your truck's. List, a hammer, screwdriver, crescent wrench, Vice grips, and maybe a few hand wrench's in a small tool box. Just a 67 year old farmer, i always tried to have those with me in my truck, and in my tractors, it helped me get going , or out of a jam countless times.
Just not too much that kid can't do! Miss that constant grin though. He seems to be more serious lately. Growing up. These kids coming off the ranch life assembly line so talented must be a source of intense pride for you and Laura!!! We are all enjoying it as well!!!! Good job~
In 30 yrs your kids are going to look back at there childhood and be utterly amazed. All the things they may regret now. Will be the things they cherish later. Great job mom and dad.
I watch your videos and they remind me of kids growing up in the 60’s and 70’s. So good to see some real kids and not a bunch of space cadets who only know how to play with a phone.
Great job Rilely driveing that truck there is not any ranching job you cant do Dad and Mom must be so proud of you I know we are great young man God Bless ONTARIO CANADA
Young man is doing good. Few more years of herding that old 13 letter shit spreader and he can come lowbed for me in the mountains . Got good iron lots of work and never a dull moment.
From the video footage shown that loading went really smooth for a bunch of wild cows. And when Riley becomes of age I'd hire him any day of the week for a heavy equipment operator or truck driver, he's got and going to have endless skills!
Every young person should learn how to drive like this. When you live in the country. You learn to respect what you have and respect people around you.We need more people like this. We need more people to learn from people in the country. The cities are not good places for people to learn anything about respect. This is awesome. Thank you for sharing? Thank you for being there for the people. More kids. Boys and girls to learn from country farmers
Hi ram and Laura you’re both doing beautiful job raising your kids Reilly at such young age can do anything he grows up be find young men and as always you and you’re families be safe 🇺🇸🇺🇸
Your family videos are very very special. It gives us all how real life ranching is like. Your sons also your special daughter are the kind of kids that will make our Lords world great. Please keep the great videos coming. Thank You. God Bless Your Family 🙏🙏🙏
When Thurston took his CDL test, he was the very first person that got a 100% at that testing station! I laughed him, and told him; it was all that driving in his sleep as a little boy that made it happen!
😊 riley!! Parents raising great kids. But i will take Riley from south texas to Oklahoma. Cowboy. Can do it all! An drop ridgey off in Junction to rooe goats . Pick him up on the way back.. lol he brings such a smile!! Great job Mom an Dad great kids!!
Hello to the Hughes Family, from Bill in Raymond Ca.. Riley, shifting gears without the clutch, is like a Dance. You flow with the tune of the engine, so adding fuel (dropping a gear) or going up a gear (the dwell) between gears, is the secret. Of course RPM's allows everything to happen in sync. Over the years you will find yourself, looking at clutch pedals for wear. The only time your clutch is used, will be starting and stopping. You, Riley and your Father, will make a good team. The Best, take care.
God dam, that Riley can drive anything, if he wasn't such a good cowboy he'd make one heck of a good trucker. Much better than Ram senior's effort of touch parking against that cattle ramp, wont be long before the son surpasses the father, as it should be.
Awesome job and bet you know where there is another starter to replace that heat affected one. Also bet there is at least 4 of ya that knows how it's done.... Lastly have to ask how momma got that sliver in her foot and in that direction?
For most of those transmissions the best shifting range is between 1100 & 1700. The engine, in most cases has plenty of torque to start the truck moving at idle, then shifts work well 1500 to 1700. Riley sure does a nice job handling the rig. Toy? Nah, I'd say a great new "tool" for you folks. Save time, wear n tear on yourselves, horses and cows instead of having to herd them 20 miles to get to ranch H.Q.
Everything Riley does , whether it's riding, roping, stacking hay, delivering water, working cattle, or maneuvering the big rig, he just looks , like he has been doing it for 40 years. There is an old soul inside that cowboys body. GO Riley!

Riley is doing well to learn the nearly lost trucking art of shifting gears.
Riley is competent and capable. He can drive or operate any vehicle or machinery, and he does it well. He is skilled and able in all that he does.
Riley sure is growing up. going to be a fine young man. stay healthy Riley
Atta boy Riler! Keep those RPMs in the sweet spot... That young man is such a big helper. Can't wait to see what's next.
Food for thought. Try to carry a few tool's in all your truck's. List, a hammer, screwdriver, crescent wrench, Vice grips, and maybe a few hand wrench's in a small tool box. I have come around to the tote bag style. Easy to switch from vehicle to trunk/floor board/tractor/tailgate/ friends car. I feel naked without tools!
Just not too much that kid can't do! Miss that constant grin though. He seems to be more serious lately. Growing up. These kids coming off the ranch life assembly line so talented must be a source of intense pride for you and Laura!!! We are all enjoying it as well!!!! Good job~

I like the black and white. Makes the videos seem timeless..
From the video footage shown that loading went really smooth for a bunch of wild cows. And when Riley becomes of age I'd hire him any day of the week for a heavy equipment operator or truck driver, he's got and going to have endless skills!
Your number one helper. I always enjoy your videos.
Now that’s a real cowboy driving a truck with spurs on. You go Riley, show your big brothers how it’s done.
