NZ Weather Forecast - Tuesday 28th May 2024

An east/west split across the New Zealand to start the week with clearer skies and direr weather to be found on the eastern coasts of both Islands.
For Tuesday, showers turn to a longer spell of rain across the west of the North Island, while in the east it stays dry but turns cloudier in the evening.
On the South Island, it'll be another frosty start in Canterbury before leading to a fine day. Cloudier with showers in the south and west.
Winds are set to increase around the west of country midweek leading to a windy Wednesday on western shores.
