Every week I buy more of whatever is the lowest percentage of my portfolio and try to keep everything around 10%. Please what could be my safest buys with $400k to outperform the market in 2024?

I would avoid the index funds, mutual funds, or specific stocks for the time being. The 5% fixed incomes are the safest bet for now. Save your cash for when the market actually shows sign of recovery.

This is why I've entrusted a fiduciary with my investmnt decisions. Many underestimate advisors until emotions lead to losses. My advisor crafted a tailored strategy aligning with my long-term goals, guiding entry and exit points for the equities I focus on. This has grown my portfolio to over $850k. My personal best so far

Investors have just turned back the clock on the Fed’s tightening campaign and cast aside the Fed fears that ruled them for 15 months. It just gets very daunting to me when I’m sitting there looking at charts and trying to determine if i’m right or wrong! I’ve been trying to grow my portfolio of $300K for sometime now, I would greatly appreciate any suggestions.

So, you know when the Federal Reserve starts doing its thing, it's like the stock market suddenly perks up and starts doing the happy dance, right? It's wild how much influence those Fed pivots can have. Like, one minute, everyone's freaking out about interest rates and inflation, and then bam! The Fed makes a move, and suddenly, it's like the market just gets a shot of adrenaline. People start feeling more confident, investors get excited, and before you know it, stocks are on the rise again. It's like this crazy rollercoaster ride, but when the Fed pulls off a smooth pivot, it's like the coaster hits that sweet spot where you're just soaring. So yeah, keep an eye on those Fed moves-they're like the ultimate market mood setters!

I find it more productive and safe to buy growth/blue-chip stocks rather than tech stocks. It's advisable to work with a fiduciary advisor for well-diversified portfolios instead of relying solely on speculations.

Agreed, After taking charge of my portfolio in early 2017, i stumbled into losses. Upon realizing that a change was necessary, I consulted a fiduciary advisor in 2020 and since then my $4.2m portfolio has gained 28% annually through restructuring and diversification using dividend equities, ETFs, mutual funds, and REITs.

Fun Fact: Amazon has more PhD economists employed than any company in the world, 2nd only to the US Federal Reserve.
These experts play a crucial role in steering Amazon into becoming the world’s most diversified company, with involvement across various sectors of the US economy. Amazon is renowned for being the most customer-centric company ever and they have the quarterly revenue to show for it. If I had to choose one company to invest in, it’s Amazon.

Bravo! One of the few analyst that actually calling out Google's cost structure!! The sad part is that the current management team won't fix that, they will try to fix some of that, but not all; they will make investors happy but not excited. They have been operated this way for the past decades. Unless the management team got changed, starting with the CFO, or bring back their founders - that maybe they will try hard to maximize the share holder returns!

No way would I take Apple off the list. Their brand loyalty is second to none, they’re still the number one smartphone company in the United States and Europe, and they just claimed that spot in China. Their services division still rakes in about $23 billion a quarter. The only reason why their stock hasn’t taken off lately like Microsoft and Amazon is because they haven’t yelled “AI AI” during their earnings call. Once they do, the stock will fly once again.

I recently just started investing again so I am still in touch with the consultant that provides entry and exit points on the securities I focus on. She does all the technical analysis legwork while I go about my other businesses. You can use something else if you are the DIY type of guy, investing has no one way to do it
