That was such an epic performance absolutely amazing and Nicks tone is out of this world gives me goosebumps every time I hear it and I listen to this like 20 times a fucking day🤷🏼♂️
I didn't even know who this guy was until I purchased his signature guitar. I found this Fender styled HSS, ebony fretboard with 14" radius and though "Damn, what a killer setup." I would have never given Schecter a second glance before this. I'm glad to see they're branching away from the opal crosses and gothic look. I wish they would have Suhr modded this out of the gate, its a little more difficult when your cavity is behind the pickguard, but no biggie. Sounds perfect now. Now I'm a HUGE fan of Nick's. I wonder if he's got an amp collab in the future?
Folks, another reinforcement of the fact the gear don't matter! It is how you play, and what you play. Nick sounds just as awesome through $6,000 of gear as $1500. Although, in this day and age even inexpensive gear is very very good.
Ha, I bought this guitar (in atomic coral, happily) since I dropped my MIA Fender on the sidewalk. This guitar is better and a joy to play. Maybe that's why folks love Fender Strats, since it fights you. This Schecter just wants to be loved.
It's a 2-point floating tremolo. I have the same on my strat, it's not so much the bridge as it is setting it up so it can bend up as well as down for a bit It's a very nice effect, but you can't downtune or droptune when you have it set up like that
And I love that he plays these on his budget models as well
Nick is awesome, real, original. Such a breath of fresh air. Not trying to be, just is, music flows authentically
This is how you pick the right notes to bring out the emotions of your playing.

This is controlled chaos
i love these playthroughs with a different flavour, so much control in his play
sounds awesome. Nick just has vibe
이런 훌륭한 연주를 들을 수 있다는 것에 감사할 정도
Wow.... never heard of this guy.. but he can play the guitar for sure
Da nova geração o único que toca realmente com a alma incrível
NJ was just insane sick playing, gorgeous style
Was just turned on to Nick Johnston a few weeks ago. Beautiful…Nice tone and feel.

100 percent truth . Wish I knew earlier , should have spent on lessons then gear
My favority guitarist today..genious!!!
He bends the string so hard until the guitar can't handle the tuning anymore! Crazy stuff! 🔥
Pure Gem...
Love for Nick Jhonston.
Excellent guitarist and guitar! ✌️
Love the tone & playing style
Another NJ masterpiece.
controlling the sound on the stem is very technical, and the fantastic musicality.
Mesmerizing

I bought mine in atomic frost...can't wait! Have two fenders , one standard strat Usa and a SRV sig...they will probably sleep for a while lol
amazing
that sounds great...
Hypergiant is such a perfect song he can't even replicate the studio version. Amazing job though anyway.
Awesome

I think his hair is part of the tone
또한번 느낀다 기타가 아니라 손가락이 중요함을!!

Not bad !!! but can he play Smoke on the water ?
Kidding?
@@Wylde-gr4ik I am Kidding .
Maybe if he practices hard for a few more years.
@Keithokeef-Not only can he play smoke on the water but can smoke under water while playing guitar!

Superb👍👍👍👍✔✔
como hace para que la guitarra suene tan aguda en los primeros trastes?
Hola, el cambio de los pickups es una clave para eso. Abrazo desde Brasil.
Yo creo que te refieres a los Armónicos, es una técnica muy buena
How does he keep the 60 cycle hum quiet? I love his tone, but im just concerned about the hum or id get one of his guitars.
According to Johnathan Koh, in a youtube video, the pickups of the traditional model produce very little 60 cycle hum
What sort of bridge is that, which works as a tremolo with fingers?

There is no reason to switch between pick-ups that much.
It's like he got into a habit of bumping the switch and having to rest
