    My cousin once said: "There's something cowardly about the smile of the Flemish" Spot on. I think some polite behavior is cultural. In the worst case, being "nice" is weak and fear-based.

      Yeah - there is a cultural element to agreeableness which I think is part of the problem.
      Here I'm talking specifically about being 'nice' to women in a way that is incredibly fake or setting up a 'deal' whereby I do X expecting Y from my date. Both are the height of cuntishness in my opinion.
      Much better to go, be bold and let the chips fall where they may.

    Good point. A lot of 'nice' guys are selectively friendly or helpful to women, i see it even in the gym, but women can read these behaviours. Its like, why be 'extra' nice to women, theyll know whats up, but if you are your authentic self, putting yourself out there, taking action, but not pedastalising her, even teasing her a little, theyll feel you dont change for others, you do what you really want
