I think one of the more interesting things about this game is it's themes of the impact of childhood trauma in adulthood and processing trauma as an adult. The professor is essentially a single mother trying to raise two kids, one of which includes Gori, the youngest sibling, while at the same time struggling with her own mental health issues, her regrets, and the abuse she takes from her boss. It's possible to interpret several of the characters in the game as a family unit: Pinky and Gori as twin siblings, the professor as a mother, and the professor's boss as an @busive father. Pinky and Gori being separated could be interpreted as a custody dispute in the case of divorce (The professor's boss deems Gori to be too dangerous, because he has free will, and wants him terminated, but wants Pinky, because she is the opposite of Gori (the father doesn't want Gori the troubled child and keeps Pinky, while Gori goes to the professor, and the children are split, and never seen again)). The entire journey that Gori goes on is essentially processing what happened to him and his sister (He survived a bad childhood full of trauma, but was still symbolically scared from it. Pinky, meanwhile, was traumatized by the @buse she faced through the company and her abandonment by the professor, whom she blames for becoming a monster (Pinky was abused by her father, and abandoned by her mother, and forgotten by her twin sibbling (Gori embeds her heart on a spike. He liturally stabs her in the heart)).Over time, the trauma has become her, and eventually destroys her), and Gori must process what happened to him in order to overcome the trauma he faced as a child, as well as the loss of his sister.
You really seen some shit, haven't you? I absolutely LOVE the perspective you wrote tho, I just thought this was some bloody good fun straight out of the edgelord shit I liked in 2008. Comic books were a big deal, emoticon faces, cute creatures with body horror style weapons, cats that were taking the internet by storm, creepy dolls, hiding from corporations, smart blonde professors, and hoverboards. But your takeaway and story examination is great, like it adds a little extra depth to it all. Nice work, yo!
I always thought professor from demos was main antagonist really of cuddly empire, due to the cutscenes up to 3rd level, turns out she just indirectly caused the events in the game, despite intellgience she made some really bad judgement calls.
Played it. I'm disappointed that there are no lines acknowledging the weird situation about the Unicorns you rescue from the Side Missions of Mission 7 (Gori's Nightmares). Though I suppose I don't need to question that since it's a video game.
This needs to be expanded! This is just too good to only have one game to back it up. Hopefully there will be a sequel where Gori, F.R.A.N.K., CH1P along with Goldfin and his mech suit work together kicking ass and saving the day, along with new allies. How about they team up with a unicorn after saving it from peril. The unicorn then becomes infected with mother's gift, mutates, and becomes bigger and stronger than any other unicorn. They'll be inclined to attack Gori and the others at first, but after remembering how Gori saved their life and how much they hated the adorable army, they return to their senses and with their newfound strength, become a valuable and loyal ally. How about a bunny, possibly a pinky bunny model that survived the recall and seeks to destroy the adorable army and Pinky herself for all the atrocities they committed, fashioning blades, arrows, and other weapons out of the claws and horns of unicorns they slayed. They are against teaming up with Gori and the others at first, but realize that they all have a common goal, and wirking with them isn't so bad afterall. That's just an idea of mine...
Glad the entire game got covered. It’s a slashing fun, but I cannot deny finding the keys and enemy wave rooms can be a mixed situation My only gripe was the VA, it was not perfect but one cannot demand such and one get used to it Other then that I am satisfied

Damn… I've never seen a game with large portions of cuteness and violence at the same time…so cool 🤩

This is perfection ❤❤❤
I love cat games
The entire premise screams "Suda51"
Its like Alice Madness Returns mixed with Bloody Bunny, but I'm on LSD
I'm all for games that are getting little attention because they're not apocalyptic FPS.
Thanks, GLP. Raising a Guinness to you gents!
