Looking at this make me really appreciate how unique the Bloodborne weapons are. Not to complain DS and Elden Ring weapons, but nothing beats the satisfying transforming Reiterpeallasch gunshot parry.
Not just the weapons but u can chain the strong or light attack with a weapon transformation at any point in the combo for a unique attack at any point in the combo for a variety of attacks
It's because the game was really small compared to the other games. So they had more time to invest a lot of time into the weapon and armor designs. But there's also fewer weapons

War Pick is one of the worst weapon in ER, for real. It's really sad, I honestly think they have messed up the size of the weapon, it's REALLY small :/ I don't see BB2 coming in the future, but the Remaster is pretty much sure imo (sooner or later). And I mean a super mega basic remaster, nothing fancy.
If you adversary has a good connection and there’s no (or little) lag, I find that to be a pretty good punish. You just roll a bit earlier then the slash animation, and boom, you got a backstab! Thanks btw :)

My Chikage build was an Uchigatana with Seppuku to mimic the transform of the chikage in bloodborne. Mostly because I refuse to use RoB. That and using Seppuku also costs health, which the transform of the Chikage also does, only difference being the fact that the actual chikage constantly drains health while transformed vs Seppuku which does %health damage one time per use. Good video though, I am dying of thirst for a Bloodborne remaster, I can't be blood drunk if there's no blood afterall.
I hate the RoB too…I've used it only for the look of the blade, and I tried to use only after I landed a BloodSlash, like a transformation attack or something. I hope they nerf it to the ground so I can use without feeling dirty.

I simply do not have words to describe my delight. Every detail in this video is perfect. Starting with the very ideas of adapting weapons from BB to ER, pumping in the use of a quick step to simulate dodges. I've been playing DS for years now, I've seen a lot. Therefore, it is always nice to see such originality and creative approach to creating videos.

I can't believe I haven't seen this sooner, i'm trying my own Bloodborne build too, using the same hat but using the confessor set aswell, but watching this showed me how diverse you can be with weapons and armor, beautiful video!
Tbh I would go for just a proper remaster/port. Bloodborne is an amazing story that manages to tell all the lore within the one game, it doesn't necessarily need a sequel. I just wish they would port it, my ps4 died a year ago and I miss playing bloodborne so much.
I love that for some ash of war, it would be far more fitting and easy to use Bullshit Step to mimic the Old Hunter Bone effect. But for class you switch it out with quickstep lol

You can tell a lot of effort went into this, great job. If you end up doing another you could always use a cane sword/urumi combo to mimic the threaded cane.
For the threaded cane I actually tried Cane Sword+Hoslow Whip…it was miserable :( The Cane Sword is literally the worst straight Sword in the game (damage AND movesets wise), and the whip is really underwhelming if not powerstanced with another one with the bleed status on it. MAYBE the Urumi could work, I might try it out.
it doesnt matter the weapon, nor the person weilding it, no sorcery can stop a good hunter from doing their job. u killed it with this one i loved every second of it

The video is super good. I really like the boom hammer, stake driver ideas, and rifle spear alternatives. Really creative. One I didn't see was the tonitrus, which I use the regular mace with lightnight slash for. :)
Decided to make a build based around this using your Kirkhammer, beast repellent torch (Hunter torch) and my own take of the Hunter Axe: Battleaxe and the Gargoyle Halberd (Quickstep) and to be honest it does kinda kick ass
I think I fought you in pvp, I dunno if it was when I was doing a normal build or when I was possessed by the moonveil but the build and fight was cool as hell, keep up the good work!
It’s super fun, but a bit painful since you don’t get to use a lot of powerful weapons/ash of war. Invasion can be though, for sure. But yes, I had a really good time with it :)

Elden Ring is by A LOT my favorite when it comes to build a character and the level of personalization is insane, but BB still stands as a beast of a game.

Elden Ring is a great game, I hope you find time to play it and appreciate it. The pvp on the other hand…it's…fun. Terrible, but super fun. You have so many options, builds, weapons to try. If you don't care about "what's meta", then you can create your own fun.
Double Slash on a long reach weapon in really good, even for roll catches. If you add bleed on it, damn, it’s powerful. Keep in mind that that was a “shit” build for bleed. I didn’t have a single items to boost my damage and only 46 Arcane.

I don't even participate in PVP, but this was so fun to watch! I think these builds would work fine for PVE, too...I am drawn to the Strength build as Eileen the Crow-esque build. Pulley Crossbow, Great Scythe, longsword, Stake Driver etc! Between my Guts char & BB char, they should make for fun playthroughs XD

Also, give the PvP a try, when you don’t encounter toxic players, it’s awesome. I recommend try it out at lower levels, like 50/60 for a more balanced experience. It’s a great starting point ;)
@@AZAELinvaded Allgood 😊 I actually just created my own hunter, was going to do either Eileen or Gehrman, or even try creating a Vicar Amelia build, but decided to make my own for flexibility. Want to use the Grave Scythe and Ghizha Wheel,and wear some of the Traveller's set (definitely the hat!) Pulley Crossbow or the Bestial pew-pew one (can't remember the name lol) to replicate the gun. Firepots and throwing knives I don't have PS+ right now for PVP, but maybe in the future if I can overcome my shyness! 😅 Thanks again for the inspiration!👍

Kinda surprised to not see Eleonora's poleblade into powerstanced uchi and wakazashi as the Rakuyo. I did love Mantis blade as the Saif though, that's not something I would have thought of but it works pretty well. I too pray for a "trick weapon" in the DLC. I think it'd be fairly easy to work into 2 handing, just have the 2 handing animation also transform the weapon and give it a different moveset (maybe even a differnet ash or variation on the one handed ash?) Honestly I hope for a lot of things from the dlc and I'm scared they won't come. Elden Ring's weapons seem super conservative compared even to just base ds3, let alone the dlc. It seems like a conscious decision to tone down the weapons to spotlight the ashes of war more to me. But who knows, maybe they'll go absolutely nuts with the dlc weapons now that there's been time to ruminate on the tamer unique weapons
They always bring us a LOT of incredible weapons with the DLCs in the past, so I'm sure they'll do something really special. BUT, yes, some weapon classes could definitely use a re-work in terms of speed of animation, range or even some movesets. Hell, we have ONLY ONE Greatsword with the thrust R2, no Colossal Sword with the vertical slice, these are just two example of things they ALREADY have the animations ready for. Even some trick-weapons, like the Rakuyo for example: one-handed or two-handed Twinblade moveset (or similar), unique Ash of War that transform the weapon with an attack, second form a-la Onikiri and Ubadachi Boom, done. There are far too much "useless" weapons or far too similar too each other, but yes, it's the ash of war system that gives value to a lot of them in the end.
@@AZAELinvaded I was mostly referring to the lack weirder gimmick weapons actually. Stuff like asymmetrical dual weapons akin to the Farron or Crow Quills, or the wide array of catalyst weapons. Elden Ring's coolest weapons are just normal weapons with a cool ash of war or a single part of their moveset does something cool. But I do definitely agree with everything said

I alway make my character like that since Dark Souls. I really love how “skinny” some armor can be, it helps with mix and match different set of armor in my opinion.
Hey man! I think it would work perfectly fine! The bleed build I used it’s super strong honestly (and it’s not even properly optimized), and the the other two builds I used did solid damage too!

It’s super fun, but a bit painful since you don’t get to use a lot of powerful weapons/ash of war. Invasion can be though, for sure. But yes, I had a really good time with it :)

Well, I hope soon, it would super cool if other players get to experience what is (imo) the best From game in a lot of aspects, like weapons design, world building and the overall atmosphere. Elden Ring is by A LOT my favorite when it comes to build a character and the level of personalization is insane, but BB still stands as a beast of a game.

Elden Ring is a great game, I hope you find time to play it and appreciate it. The pvp on the other hand…it's…fun. Terrible, but super fun. You have so many options, builds, weapons to try. If you don't care about "what's meta", then you can create your own fun.
Double Slash seems great with Scythes, Imma copy it and try for myself good sir!
Double Slash on a long reach weapon in really good, even for roll catches. If you add bleed on it, damn, it’s powerful. Keep in mind that that was a “shit” build for bleed. I didn’t have a single items to boost my damage and only 46 Arcane.

Il remix è assurdo si, troppo bello. Il pvp di BB ha troppi difetti a livello proprio "organizzativo" purtroppo , difficilmente riuscirei a tornare indietro (non dico che ER non ne abbia ovviamente ahaha)

I think these builds would work fine for PVE, too...I am drawn to the Strength build as Eileen the Crow-esque build. Pulley Crossbow, Great Scythe, longsword, Stake Driver etc!
Between my Guts char & BB char, they should make for fun playthroughs XD

Also, give the PvP a try, when you don’t encounter toxic players, it’s awesome. I recommend try it out at lower levels, like 50/60 for a more balanced experience. It’s a great starting point ;)

I actually just created my own hunter, was going to do either Eileen or Gehrman, or even try creating a Vicar Amelia build, but decided to make my own for flexibility.
Want to use the Grave Scythe and Ghizha Wheel,and wear some of the Traveller's set (definitely the hat!)
Pulley Crossbow or the Bestial pew-pew one (can't remember the name lol) to replicate the gun.
Firepots and throwing knives
I don't have PS+ right now for PVP, but maybe in the future if I can overcome my shyness! 😅

Kinda surprised to not see Eleonora's poleblade into powerstanced uchi and wakazashi as the Rakuyo. I did love Mantis blade as the Saif though, that's not something I would have thought of but it works pretty well.
I too pray for a "trick weapon" in the DLC. I think it'd be fairly easy to work into 2 handing, just have the 2 handing animation also transform the weapon and give it a different moveset (maybe even a differnet ash or variation on the one handed ash?)
Honestly I hope for a lot of things from the dlc and I'm scared they won't come. Elden Ring's weapons seem super conservative compared even to just base ds3, let alone the dlc. It seems like a conscious decision to tone down the weapons to spotlight the ashes of war more to me. But who knows, maybe they'll go absolutely nuts with the dlc weapons now that there's been time to ruminate on the tamer unique weapons
They always bring us a LOT of incredible weapons with the DLCs in the past, so I'm sure they'll do something really special. BUT, yes, some weapon classes could definitely use a re-work in terms of speed of animation, range or even some movesets. Hell, we have ONLY ONE Greatsword with the thrust R2, no Colossal Sword with the vertical slice, these are just two example of things they ALREADY have the animations ready for. Even some trick-weapons, like the Rakuyo for example: one-handed or two-handed Twinblade moveset (or similar), unique Ash of War that transform the weapon with an attack, second form a-la Onikiri and Ubadachi Boom, done.
There are far too much "useless" weapons or far too similar too each other, but yes, it's the ash of war system that gives value to a lot of them in the end.
Also, nice suggestion for the Rakuyo, I might take that as an advice for an hypotetic "part 2" ;)
@@AZAELinvaded I was mostly referring to the lack weirder gimmick weapons actually. Stuff like asymmetrical dual weapons akin to the Farron or Crow Quills, or the wide array of catalyst weapons. Elden Ring's coolest weapons are just normal weapons with a cool ash of war or a single part of their moveset does something cool. But I do definitely agree with everything said

Probably a coincidence but I love how the character is skinny just a bloodborne character as well.
I alway make my character like that since Dark Souls. I really love how “skinny” some armor can be, it helps with mix and match different set of armor in my opinion.

I think it would work perfectly fine! The bleed build I used it’s super strong honestly (and it’s not even properly optimized), and the the other two builds I used did solid damage too!
It's mostly against Corpse Piler and Transient Moonlight, people don't seem to know there are other weapons in the game
