I wouldn't go to say that he dances better than Kai, since Kai is trained in ballet and jazz (as am I, and let me tell you, ballet hurts a lot and requires a lot of commitment). Also, Kai's moves are always sharp and strong.
Minseok's moves are even sharper and stronger than Kai's if you pay attention closely. It's just Kai's body makes his moves more prominent on stage, while Xiumin is too short to make the dances shine. Also Xiumin is often put at the back of the group so you might not pay enough attention to him. Tbh Kai is of smooth and flexible style. He s not even as sharp and strong as Lay.
Well, take it from a person who has danced and taught dance before. Yes, Kai's dancing is smooth and flexible, but dancing is a combination of both. I'm not biased to Kai at all; he's in the last 3 of my bias list in EXO. But as a dancer also, I acknowledge his skill for it. He has danced longer, explored more of the dance world, and has more experience. Maybe it's just your opinion, but I prefer Kai's dancing bc you can tell he's passionate about it when he dances.

Wow I had no idea that Xiumin could sing like he did at 3:18-3:24 :O Just goes to show that SM really hasn't given him the chance to showcase his full abilities :( He's so underrated in EXO, both as a singer and a dancer. If you watch him, you can see that he's actually one of the better dancers too (very energetic/passionate with a lot of 'pop' in his moves), but SM usually focuses on the other members during dances, while Xiumin is often at the back or sides. I hope SM will give him more of a chance to shine. I guess one of the upsides to Luhan leaving is that Xiumin is now getting to sing Luhan's lines, so SM is slowly giving him more parts. But I do miss Xiuhan TT_TT
Xiumin was probably at least mid 20's. He's so baby faced, everyone immediately assumed he was like 12 😂😂😂 I don't think he auditioned for JYP _that_ early

I almost feel like at the beginning of his time at sm (his trainee period) did a number to his confidence. You see him singing so clearly and strong in some of these (particularly predebut) while in some more recent ones he is shying away. Which I completely understand. It's so hard for introverts so make it in performance industries. But yes I agree he absolutely has the potential to be as good at the lead vocals.
as of any Group artist, Xiumin fills a role, His vocal range is needed less often but is equally as important. Just like some Suju members like Shindong, who can actually sing very well but just can't find many lines for his vocal range(especially Kangin has similar range). I'm sure there will be songs that needs him more in the future.

Im going to be biased here an point out that before Last romeo, Infinite's Sungyeol's lines totaled to be about 3 minutes total in ALL of their songs. Yes, these idols are important and needed! But they aren't always treated that way...

Maybe the reason why sm did not made him the main vocal because maybe Chen,D.O and Baek are better or maybe because his voice is more of a musical than pop. Thats why sm casted Xuimin to be one of the cast in the musical school of oz together with Suho.
Xiumin seriously needs to be in one of the main vocals. He has depth and great pitch of voice when he sings, and I never knew it until now. and WTF, he went to JYP audition?!?! *frowns toward the JYP* How can't they pick him when he's just perfect? xiumin shouldn't be put in the back-burner any longer hes the oldest member and hes not young i mean he is young just not that young in "idol age" terms before we know it he'll be 30 or something and joining the military i don't want to sound cynical but if there's anytime for him to showcase his singing skills fully ITS NOW if the other main vocals have tons of solo lines or sing on immortal song or radios or concerts why not xiumin i know hes shy but hes an entertainer not a trainee anymore i do understand theres 12 now 11 freakin members and its hard to show off everyone and not to mention the overflow of k idol groups but xiumin has the potential to shine in singing he just needs more confidence
