Rapunzel definitely is hugely popular. And I think the population is happy that Mulan and Pocahontas got respect in this ceremony...especially when theyr'e usually largely ignored especially by WDW
I just love how each princess represents the progress of women's standards and ideals from the time period their movie came out, starting with things like poised and gracious to courageous and ambitious.
Not sure if that's necessarily progress. Just different values. I would argue that graceful and poised is just as important as courageous and ambitious
@KylaGrace This!! All values in these Disney Princesses are equally important. I actually hate that Snow White, Cinderella or Aurora are being looked down and "needed a prince" to be saved when they possess remarkable attitudes and kind hearts. Other people are taking Feminism in a wrong way.
Yes, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, some of us believe that dreams may come true, but most of us would think it's all a fairytale. Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you all the most loveable characters of all time. They are all special and magical in their own way. I give you... the Disney princesses everyone! Let the performance take your breath away and relive the magic!😃
Even though some argue that Mulan is not a disney princess, I think she holds the characteristics of what makes a princess such as brave, beautiful, and kind. Although she may not be an actual princess by title, she has the characteristics of one which is probably why she was added to the Disney Princess franchise in the first place. Which is what I like about the franchise, that they don't all have to be princesses they just have to demonstrate the qualities of one.
The way she says the names is like those commercials announcing a celebrity or something special coming to a mall. Everything is pre-recorded and there is an empty space to put the different name in.
I was so excited about seeing all ten of the princesses together--well, eleven of them now--I was sitting with my face two inches from the screen, screaming in delight. It's so rare to see all of them together. My childhood wish come true. I think Ariel and Aurora look the best in this video, but they all look amazing! (:
I mean Tiana did the same as she was the only princess to own and operate her own business as well as grew up in a low income household as a black woman in New Orleans in the 1920’s. On top of Belle being the (o-nly-)first proven literate Princess, Mulan being the only princess who enlisted in the military and is a war veteran, Jasmine being the first of the princess to VOLUNTARILY RUN AWAY from her privileged status and the first not to marry via political obligation but for genuinely love. Merida is actually a reprint of MANY Disney princess in this line up who’s whole story is about rebelling or changing tradition or putting off marriage. The only unique aspect of Merida is that she is the only Princess in this line up that is not married or engaged. Which sure, is a pretty big milestone, but the rest of her character is standard Disney princess stuff. Edit: Belle is the first literate princess but it has been proven that Rapunzel, Tiana, and Mulan are literate. Rapunzel reads the same books in her tower, Tiana reads cookbooks which she keeps in her home, and Mulan reads a scroll and writes on her arm. However it is unclear if Cinderella, Snow White, Aurora, or Ariel are literate or able to write. Making Belle the first verified literate princess.
Arienne Salois HPofNARNIA I don't think the flashbacks where her and her mom sing for like 10 seconds really count. This movie, along with Tarzan are the only two Disney movies I can think of at the moment where none of the characters sing. There are songs in the movie but no actual character sings them.
All of these Disney Princesses are princesses. No question about it. If you think that the girl needs to married into royalty to be a princess, you're wrong, being a princess means being kind, gracious, dreamer etc... Many mothers see they're children as prince or princesses because they see the good in them. Therefore many see the good in these characters, making them princesses :D
@@lilsaam In order to be a princess you need to be born into royalty, marry a prince, OR do a noble act. Mulan and Pochohontas did that. So they are princesses, if we wanna be realistic Ariel needs to go because she's a made up creature she shouldn't be here.

For those of you who don't understand how disney princess's work, to become a Disney princess a ceremony like this one happens to crown the new princess all the girls here have been crowned by disney to be official disney princess, the reason why Anna and others are not "princess" yet is because they haven't officially been granted the title of princess by disney.

My favorite princess is Mulan...In my opinion she is underrated. She saved her entire country y’all!! Anyway great vid, I love how you did it in the order of there movies released.
To answer the Mulan debate... In the movie she is given the highest honor by the emperor for saving the country. That honor is considered even higher then the Princess title so technically no Mulan isn't a princess, she has a higher honorary title which concludes why she was added to the Disney Princess Royal Court.
Love Ariel's dress the most. Tiana's is nice too! I love Merida - she is such an under rated princess!! It's so good that they made a Scottish princess - it's different from the other themes.

Mulan is a princess and she's honored as a princess. And even if she wasnt, she certainly deserves the title 'Princess' because she acted more heroic more than any of the princess other than maybe Pocahontas and Merida (Merida didnt even get a man or more rather chose not to have one). Also, Mulan sacrifice herself to protect her father and to restore her family's honor and at the end, she saves her whole country and then the everyone bowed down to her!
