How toxic is it ....???
It's very toxic. The toxic suptance is peruvoside, that causes heart arrest. You can get poisoned by eating seeds, or every part of the plant. Also, you can get poisoned if you inhalate the smoke of burning plant. Many cases of poisoning have been recorded so be careful if you have this plant, especially with children.
