I really appreciate the guides and blotting paper that the notebook comes with! Very helpful, and lends itself to a diverse writing space. Looking forward to seeing the pens in action at some point. Thanks for sharing!
I just got the Scrikss 419 and went through a decent delay because I had to provide a statement there were no dangerous chemicals involved. I'm enjoying the 419, it's very light.
The first fountain pen I bought for myself was a Kaweco Sport, which has become my all time favorite pocket pen. I'm not one to get multiples of the same pen, but that cognac color with the gold trim is very tempting!
I had Fed-Ex hold some vintage Pilot pens sent from Japan last month. I’ve never had this problem before. When they called me, I had a hard time explaining that there was no ink in the pens. Then the person I had talked to went on vacation and I had to fill out the paperwork. I’ve had other pens sent from Japan since sent thru other shipping companies without issue. I am a big fan of the Everyday books. I make myself start using it immediately before it becomes so “precious” even if I only do a couple of ink swatches otherwise I’ll never use it. I still have stationery from high school that is “to nice” to use.🙃🖋👍🏻
I had that same problem with fedex and the pen lol. They called and questioned me about ink in it. I guess just being safe but it held up my order too. I love the little pen, got double broad. Never heard of the other brand either.

That is a very cool notebook!
I know. I just have to figure out how not to be precious about it and USE it.
Mike Matteson I do the same thing. I love beautiful notebooks, but have a hard time writing everyday blathering in them.
Looking forward to your review of that Scrikss 419.

I was holding my breathe waiting for a d20 to rol out of that pouch.
Ah a man of culture too! Nat 20!
