yikes... major secondhand embarrassment when dave brings up the height difference. see, we can poke fun at katie all day for being awkward in this interview but i hardly think that's fair. clearly she's quite a sensitive person and doesn't know how to respond when put on the spot. with some guests, dave doesn't try to put them at ease, develop a rapport whatsoever, and often goads them into more and more discomfort. and here it just makes me sad. why does he have to be so rude? she's so sweet:(

She is an amazingly talented and beautiful actress, she is very kindhearted and genuine, and she is very intelligent as well. That she is a bit uncomfortable, and that she doesn't know how to deal with DL at times, well that is understandable. It doesn't mean that she is dumb in any way. With regards to Tom Cruise - if they are happy I don't see how their relationship is anyone elses business. They're in love, and now has a beautiful daughter as well, so let them be.
