My first ever Arsenal Trophy! Never have I seen such a happy day in my life! Tears in my eyes and everything in that moment made sense. Seeing Arsene smile was a bonus to add on top of it.
It's s beautiful feeling Omair, isn't it? My first Arsenal trophy was the 79 Final against Man Utd. 3-2. It's been called the 5 minute Final for obvious reasons. The year before, we played Ipswich and lost 1-0 and I cried like a baby, making the Utd win even more fabulous. #COYG 🏆
@@dougiegooner Let's be honest, the feeling of winning the FA Cup final against a poor Hull City is absolutely nothing compared to beating Utd in the 79 Cup final, winning the league at Anfield in 1989, beating Parma in the 1994 Cup Winners Cup final or winning the league at Old Trafford in 2002. I feel for new gooners fans because they will never truly understand what it felt like to be in the presence of something truly special.
@@PeaceDweller True! Anfield 89 absolutely kills everything listed..no problem. That's true for those players like Adams, Smith, Dixon , the whole squad! I still get goosebumps watching it now. I remember watching Forest beat Liverpool 2-1 in 1991 in the Woodbine pub, making Arsenal Champions before kick off against Man Utd that evening. That was brilliant, being in and amongst Gooners blowing whistles, cars driving by with fans cheering and flags everywhere. Once we got to Highbury for the game it was quite surreal...we were Champions...again, two years after Anfield, and it was great....but NOT as great as that famous night! I think that's gonna be impossible to top. 🏆🙌🙌❤
This is a moment I won't forget. This is the first champion that I experienced with Arsenal since I became a fan in 2006. At that moment, I was preparing my college entrance exam in China and share my excitation with my first girlfriend. Now, six years have passed, I am now living in New Jersey. We still didn't get the premier league title, even lost the qualification for champions league, but I'll still stand together with this team. If it 's not the pandemic, I was supposed came to London and go to the Emirates stadium. Hope the pandemic ends ASAP.
@@Sibstajimjam1719 It was an expression of joy at the time. I didn't mean he was already a club legend literally. More like an adjective. Also not average at all. It took the likes of Xavi, Xabi, Iniesta, Busquets, Silva, Mata to keep Arteta out of Spain national team. He was a top player, an average player is somebody at League 2 level... Arteta was a top Premier League player, and was knocking on the door for Spain call ups... that's freaking amazing.
Seeing Özil, Ramsey and Santi roaming around is so nice. Honestly, 3 world class players who can dominate. Wish we got to see more of this later on, injuries and weird tactical decisions kind of ruined it.
As Arsenal fan My favourite cup final so much emotion that day waited so long to see Arsenal win something again amazing comeback all time classic Fa cup final
Arsène Wenger´s F.A Cup reign: -7 F.A CUPS 2-0 v Newcastle (19997/´98) 2-0 v Chelsea (2001/´02) 1-0 v Southampton (2002/´03) 0-0(5-4p.) v Manchester United (2004/´05) 3-2 v Hull City (2013/´14) 4-0 v Aston Villa (2014/´15) 2-1 v Chelsea (2016/´17) Merci Arsène
I remember watching this live. Arsenal really shat their paints in the first 10 mins. But what a great comeback it was! Finally ending their 9 year silverware drought.
Commentator saying Ozil's shot @ 35:36 wasn't great coz it hit the ground, not knowing that's Ozil's technique of scoring goals. 😆😆 So many times he scores goals like those where he bounces the ball on the ground just in front of the keeper to disorient him and boom, it's a GOA L!
Arsene Wenger, tieless and covered in champagne is not a sight you see every day. This was a tremendous victory for Arsenal and Wenger - one of the great names of English football.
I was 8 when I watched this game. 8 years later santi crazorlas free kick flew in it was the happiest I’ve ever been. And that was the first goal 😂 me and my dad celebrated this is in the pub and it was amazing
Chester to score in the 4th minute, Davies to score in the 9th, followed by a santi free kick in the 17th, and a Koscielny goal in the 71st. And finally a Ramsey goal deep into stoppage time. I've just got a hunch.
Aoron Ramsey maked different and hero for Arsenal also Hull city surprise it Arsenal in half time but Arsenal so much impresive in second extra time 🤔👍👏👏👏
Эта была не самой сильной командой который тренировал. Не было таких звёзд. Многим было уже 30 и больше. Но только они смогли прервать на тот момент 10 летнию засуху без трофеев. Спасибо вам ребята за такой подарок
I can't believe Ozil is the only serving Arsenal player from this team. A lot of respect for the man! I understand something from Ozil's perspective now. He is not used to be the Mr. Do it all, he is there to provide that assist and sometimes link-up play but now we want him to link up play, assist, defend, and shoot. I know people reinvent themselves to fit into the game but no one can be completely new at this stage in their career. CR7 is not, he literally moves to a more comfortable role, Messi the same so why must Ozil be a scapegoat? Please, let Arsenal coaches explain what Pepe needs to do and get more progressive midfielder to accompany Ozil and we will enjoy him again!
So many memories of this game, especially as there was a lot riding on it! Can still remember the celebrations in Wembley, and then jumping on the tube to join fellow Gooners in Islington soon after 😂💯🔥

That was a special day. It was a shame they couldn't win the league over the next 2 seasons. That team was capable of it especially when they added Sanchez and Cech but just missed something.

What a time, I miss that team even if they had their flaws. Can't believe we had Gnabry watching in the stands and not playing. why did we ever sell him? smh
That was some of the worst refereeing and some of the worst commentary ever produced! The referee missed at least 3 penalties during the match, and the commentors came up with every excuse under the sun to explain why these awful decisions were, in actuality, correct. It's why English referees are commonly seen as the worst in Europe (and potentially, in the world): awful staff and no one willing to say how awful they are.

We are playing Champions League next season and Hopefully winning the League too. (A lifetime fan of Arsenal from Bangladesh 🇧🇩)
Will you come and visit? I did my first visit age 30 summer 2022 and I lived only 30 miles away. I didn't think that day would come.
This are my most favourite arsenaljerseys. I love the mix of the red, dark blue and white!
I'm a Man Utd fan and I like this jersey too

The 2011 was one of my favourites. The classic 70's style should have got a second season. 2005/06 is my personal favourite.
I used to think arsenal had the Nike curse🤣🤣🤣💀loved the jersey. ever since then they never played the same

Apart from giving them a corner that was a goal kick for their "equaliser" you mean?
7 years later still crying watching this. Waiting for 9 years to win, losing CL and 2 League Cup finals and finally won my first trophy with the club.
