  • This is the fourth long leg cast / LLC and last part of our Gips-Story around the Armcast, Combo and now finally the recovery with a long leg in plaster with wheelchair.
    We go shopping and wheel around outside in a little park.
    After this adventure, next stories may be written ;)

    Beautiful feet and toes. Hopefully the toes can be seen more often sticking out of the cast without a sock along with being barefoot on the good foot. Nice crutching, too.

      We work on projects with toes and socks in balance ;)
      My taste are fedinelty white socks over white plastercasts, but more and more toes will be visible too :)

    What answer do you give to the people who see you everyday?

    • @Castloverasiagerman
      @Castloverasiagerman  Год назад +2

      Thats a good question and its funny, because we never had such situation yet :)
      Sometime neighbours see us with casts or strolling out with wheelchair, but more that a surprised look, we never get.
      So far, nobody asked about the casts.
      My answer would be depending on the person who ask. If I know the person, then I would explain to apply the casts for a art and film project.

      @@priyanshurathi1764 I guess we talk about plaster material ;)
      Even this is expansive in germany, but fiber material even more.
      I can Imagine that at least plaster is a lot cheaper in other parts of the world, yes.
      I visited over 20 countries including india or indonesia and even in some parts of east-europe many hospitals still use plaster-material becuase its a lot cheaper than fiber.
      For me as plaster-enthusiast, its even the better material with the better surface and look.
      White plaster is the best material we have ;)

    Wie lange hattest du dein Bein insgesamt in diesem Gips? 🥰

    • @Castloverasiagerman
      @Castloverasiagerman  Год назад +1

      Das Bein war relativ lange in Gips, wobei der Gips zwei mal gewechselt wurde.
      Wir glauben, es müsste ca. 3-4 Wochen gewesen sein.
      Zunächst war ja der Arm in Gips und dann kam das Bein hinzu (siehe die anderen Videos aus der Reihe ;)).
      Wegen dem Arm-Gips war das Bein zunächst in einem Gehgips, weil die Verwendung von Krücken mit Gipsarm verständlicherweise recht schwierig ist :).
      Aber Als der Gips am Arm wieder entfernt wurde, sollte das Bein besser nicht mehr so stark belastet werden.
      Deshalb kam dann ein Liegegips mit Krücken und Rolli zum Einsatz. Dieser Gips war dann noch eine gute Woche am Bein, bis es dann zu einem kurzen Gips wurde.
      The leg was quiet long in plaster, but changed two times.
      We think it was around 3-4 weeks.
      First the Arm was in plaster and afterwards the leg (checkout the previous parts of that story ;))
      Because of the Arm-Cast, the leg was in a walking-cast first, cause the use of crutches with an Armcast is logically quiet hard :).
      But as soon as the Plaster around the Arm came off, the weight on the leg should better be reduced.
      Thats why a Non-Walking-Cast with Crutches and Wheelchair was useful. That Plaster was covering the leg around one more Week, since it changed to a short leg cast.

      @@valentinmunch2941 Ja definitiv :)
      Es war ein tolles Abenteuer und eine gute Erfahrung.
      Wir versuchen unser Hobby immer möglichst realistisch ins Alltagsleben einzubauen.
      Also wenn es wirklich eine kleine "Verletzung" gibt oder wenn Schmerzen im Arm oder Bein entstehen, dann gipsen wir.
