    Thanks!
I’m doing a school project about geothermal power plants and I got stuck with the really smart kids.
I don’t want to get them a bad grade so not only have I done my part on a slide presentation, I’m actually making a model of a geothermal power plant

Would it be easier to use a closed loop with a working fluid with a lower boiling point? I agree 100% that water return/ recharge is essential. Great animation.

I guess this would require a down hole heat exchanger of some sort... that adds a whole other side of complexity.

This is known as a single flash or sounds like it. The problem with a working fluid is that the fluid from these reservoirs are not all water. Some contain non condensable gas, (major problem effecting efficiency) silica (which gums up the turbine and pipes) and other impure substances that reduce efficiency.

hello sir i want to ask you one question , do dry steam cleaners contain moisture , because i work in a milk powder industry and thre we do all dry cleaning and no water is introduced in any areas and the equipments should not contain water because the powder will get sticken and then the walls will get contaminated and it increases our cleaning time . so i just want yo ask you one question does dry steaming leaves behind moisture if we clean the equipment ? please sir can you reply fast.

Where does the water come from ? Is it provided or just natural resources underground

I think it is provided with water

depends, if its build on a geyser, there might already be water. But id assume that most of the time, it is manually filled with water, also allowing one to choose the location a bit more freely instead of relying on luck
