Thank you for this video. I love how you talked about your dad being your inspiration to begin collecting plants. My mom always had a green thumb and we always had plants around when I was growing up. She passed away a few years ago, we were very close so it's been tough (she passed 4 months after my dad passed). I decided this year to start getting plants, I want to feel closer to her and it has been such a great decision. I feel like she would be so proud. I now have a daughter that my mom never got to meet, but maybe I'll be able to pass down this piece of my mom to my daughter. Thanks again, I love your videos! Maybe you can do an updated apartment tour since you guys moved, I loved the last one ya'll did. xoxo

That's a ZZ plant, that's next on my list😊 Most of my plants I've gotten have been free! I got a lot from ladies at work, a co-workers mother have me my rubber tree, wondering jew and another. And a clients sister gave me one as well. I'm enjoying them.
I loved this. I have a few plant babies but now I’m back at my moms so they are all in my bedroom. Only one has died..and it's so sad because it was so full and lush & now it literally has one good stem/leaf left..But love your advice! Now i want even more plant babies haha.

ZZ Plant (Zanzibar Gem) is the name of that plant you dont know! Low Light plant! Can stick in a dark corner and will thrive! And your Birds of Paradise needs DIRECT Sunlight!..... Its too dark in that corner, place it right by the window!
What a king lol. I believe my sister feeds her kitty wet and dry combo? But he also eats like 4 times a day so it isn't sitting out for long. He's a high maintenance king too.
Love your plants and eclectic collection of pots. Everything goes so well together. Gold dust croton plants (11:30) and all the pothos plants are poisonous for cats so please be sure to keep them out of reach.
I'm not sure if others have answered this already, but the no name plant is called a ZZ plant (can not spell the scientific name for it), and it's sooooo easy to care for! Virtually indestructible. Much like the snake plant, it handles low light well and you can pretty much forget to water it and it'll survive. Just got one myself!

I use a water/light/ph meter for my plants because the "finger test" never works for me. 😂 Snake plants and zz plants are so awesome for rooms that don't get much light and are so easy to take care of and dramatic looking. Your house makes me want to buy more plants 🌿💖
My favorite indoor plants are Monsteras, Birds of Paradise, and the Dracaena Marginata. I have about 23 plants total. Sorry for multiple comments. Lol I’m still watching the video as I’m typing! ☺️
Your plant at 2:50 isn’t actually a pothos, it’s called a Scindapsus pictus and isn’t related to pothos at all! It’s commonly mislabeled as a pothos though. Love all your green babies 🌿

That looks like a ZZ plant. And that lucky bamboo isn’t bamboo at all it’s actually a dracaena sanderiana! And also Lowe’s has a plant clearance section and sometimes the plants are in great conditions and you can get nice plants for $3 sometimes even $1 or you can nurse a sick plant back to health. Home Depot from what I’ve seen is like 25-50 cents cheaper for plant pots and the quality is better than Lowe’s pots.
Don't fertilize to much at least once a month or 60 days . The succulent is to leggy to reach more light it needs indirect light and the birds of paradise needs more light pothos needs to be repoted

So I saw the Nepanthus at my local Rouses and was doing some research on it. You know that plant is a carnivorous plant? *gasp* so cool!

It's called a ZZ plant, I have two. Love this plant, it's simple, doesn't require much water, moderate sun light.
I have plants too at the store they look and grow nice but some times they die when you take them home and my cat eats some of them😹
