Love this video, watched it many times, such an utterly ridiculous car, which sounds and looks fantastic, though the track feels a bit small for this car to really stretch its legs.
That sound (and I'm sure the acceleration as well) is intoxicating. I would never want off the track if I was lucky enough to have one.
This is the kind of car that would get me back out of motorcycle racing.
Funnily enough the engine has a pair of hayabusa heads lol
Well, it does have two Hayabusa engines on one crankcase, so you wouldnt be too far from home👍

Defo 2x cars as lhd has number of gear selected correct and rhd has correct decals, I too was bamboozled.
Maybe it was a case of Ferrari type behaviour? Setup car, pro driver?
It could just be that because the test was done over multiple days, Radical had different ones available. Or they brought a spare one in case of unreliability.

How do you compare it with a Caterham in terms of handling control? Is it more user friendly?
And with the Lotus 3-Eleven?
Has much, much more downforce than either of those two cars. Since this review, Radical have changed the engine to a 3.5L Twin turbo Ford Ecoboost V6 650bhp. Easy to drive because of the downforce.
I would love to see EVO somehow get there hands on an f1 car in the near future

EVO i am sure you had such great footage but decided to make us dizzy by toggling between the different cameras you had placed on the car.
The only camera that was enjoyable to watch from was the one which was placed on top of the car.
The helmet cam was appalling. Just because you went and placed a camera on someones head (as if that was a good idea) doesn't mean you should use the footage.

Well the radical spyder does not have 440 hp it has 650 hp i read in the radical sportscar websit they acutaully have a website
this is the radical rxc 'rpe' which is n/a v8, the car you're talking about is the spyder variant of the 600r which is ecoboost v6 powered. hope this helps !

I was v lucky to get a ride in one at Silverstone, in the 3.5litre V6 turbo. Much stronger acceleration than the SR3 on the straights (which coming from motorbikes, I found a bit slow to get going), crazy brakes, and huge grip in the high speed corners of course.
Less evocative engine note than the V8 or course, and the SR3 and SR1 I drove earlier in the day.
Truly magical cars on a track and I continue to put money aside for one :-)

Said Matar I'm really not sure what the hell you're trying to get at. And on the contrary, this car IS road legal. Here it is driving with slicks. The Mclaren certainly isn't. AND it costs a LOT more. back to my first point.

+ION PUIU In what way is it a 'shitty' car? The OLD Radical SR8LM and the standard SR8 hold the top two fastest nurbürgring times to this day, just to put this cars performance potential into perspective.
Because conventional engines lose a lot of performance (approx a third I believe) due to the low oxygen levels at high altitude, whereas electric cars don't have the same issue
