That's why I go to see live performances even if the notes are not always perfect - studio versions can never produce that emotion/passion/feeling/involement which I prefer. Well done Anette for not being afraid to let your guard down. Others could learn from this when performing live instead of performing like robots.
Oh my God, it's so sad ! She starts loosing her high register in the middle of the song at 9:52. During the long break, she's definitely not acting. No, she's calming down to find her self-control and to find solution cause she's helpless to finish. At 11:50 she continues to sing with a light tone (more relaxed), at 12:20 and 12:30 the voice sounds better again but that's only because of the technique. And at 12:45 she's truly painful, that's not fake for sure. She says "NO" with the head all the time cause she don't want to sing any more but she can't quit the stage. A singer with a broken voice is totally helpless on a stage. (It happened to me long time ago that's why I'm so sad watching thinking about Anette.) Tuomas is a sadist for composing this song in this tonality. The more the song is beautiful, the more the gift is poisoned. Anyway that's the proof she's got an awesome hear to down her line as she did to finish the song.

I had never looked at the situation that way, like Tuomas being a high-roller composer villain, but Anette's fans love to say who the album Imaginaerum was composed exclusively for her voice, and that does not make sense. The only certainty I have is that Floor Jansen can magically perform this song easily and quietly xD.
