I'm really trying to get better with reading and listening. This is a help. Can't wait till I can listen to it at the proper speed! I had to slow it down to half speed on the first attempt! 😂 THanks.
I really enjoyed the story and have a huge list of vocabulary and expressions to look up now so thanks for this video! I found at the start of some sentences, the audio cut out a bit so I couldn't catch pronunciation at times but I'm we have the text to follow. On the whole, a great video for intermediate learners for sure : )
So I’m Guna translate and study all of this that I don’t know. I’m 3 mins into it and when I get the whole thing it should be able to just listen to 17 mins of Spanish with full knowledge. This should work really well
I’m a toddler in Spanish I’m a middle school student from South Korea😝(sorry for TMI🤧) I hope only listing to the Spanish fairy tales or radio, ASMR could be helpful to listen better TT

Try looking for similarities between the two. They have a lot in common. I'm Mexican so yes I know Spanish. Although not all Mexicans speak Spanish. Try looking for similarities like: The car is red- El caro es rojo. Or Connection- Conecíon, Information- Informacíon....stuff like that.
The south of the continent is not Latin America, Latin America is almost all the continent from Mexico, the Caribbean, Central America and South America.
No well it's my native language so for me it's not but since I live in a English speaking country I've been slowly losing it, now I can barely write in it, which is why I'm here. I want to become fluent in my native language. But since you speak English too, you have an advantage. There's many similarities between Spanish and English. I don't remember learning English honestly maybe because of the similarities. Well I'll give you some examples: El caro es rojo- The car is red. El autobus es amarillo- The bus is yellow. Now some words that are similar: Sal-salt. Estufa-Stove. Plato-plate. Universidad- University....etc Point is just try looking for similarities. First learn the alphabet, then the numbers, and how to say The, when, where, what,why...etc you get what I mean, then look for the similarities between the two languages. I feel like thats a good way or one way to learn Spanish. But if you find a way that works for you, then keep it. I'm just trying to help you.
@@LingoMasterySpanish Thank you very much! I can see it now. :-) Would you be able to tell me please what nationality the reader is? What accent has she got?
@@LingoMasterySpanish Thank you very much! That was my guess as well. I really like it, it's very clear. This book will help me a lot with practicing my pronunciation. :-)
What is hard to grasp is not the words for complex ideas, it is actually names of simple objects, like a comb, or drawer, or nail clip. These are hard for me to grasp.
@@ryanreyes6440 I certainly agree dude, this is actually quite slow. But admittedly, it's taken 2.5 years living in Andalusia to be able to say this lol. Only now would say that I feel an intermediate so friend, you've defo got some work to do.

In "settings" you can slow it down to .75 or .50 speed.
I think that 'intermediate' may refer to the difficulty of the text (the phrases and vocabulary), not the reading speed.
If you think this is fast, you got a lot of work to do bud and you’re not intermediate 😂😂
