We all thought Megatronus was Tarn didn't we? It seems TF One Megatronus design took inspiration from ROTF Fallen I guess? Cuz in the movie, Fallen face is based of the Decepticon logo.
No none of this is correct even in the older continuities the decepticons have based their symbol on megatronus' face. And Tarn. Tarn was a decepticon loyalists who was the leader of a special ops group. He was very obsessed with the decepticon cause to a point where he even hunted down Megatron because he did not believe Megatron was following the deception ideals any more. (1 This is idw btw his original continuity) Also the reason for his face looking like I just have to find the symbol is because of a battle scar that he used the symbol to cover up and torture people he would take off the mask that had spikes in it and stab people in their face with it.

Probably first time Onyx is not a centaur like, based on his previous appearances. And Nexus, he don't look like he formed from five robots. Also, Amalgamous has no head! (i mean he just looks like there is not head; is it just me or why does he remind me of Brawler Yukon?) Anywho, these designs still look lit!
I think Megatronus Prime in this universe was the most badass, the strong one and the toughest, because he could do what others could not: control the dark within him. Im also think Megatronus Prime was also the most honorable one too. I even think what his COG had the dark energon, instead of usual one. Why? Because Primus created him this way. To the the most honorable, because Megatronus Prime was the only one who could wield such twisted power and not become corrupted by it. He used his rage, hatred and violence to the good of all Cybertron. What's why he was the greatest. He could use the dark within him to fight for the light. Megatronus Prime was created to fight then others couldn't or didn't wanted to. And Megatronus Prime and other Primes kept him check about himself, so he always know what he have friends to back him up in any time. What he is not alone. What he have the strongest of wills to use dark path to fight for the light. He is the Dark Knight of this universe.
My guess is they added Zeta to be one of the 13 because usually the 13th is unamed, but presumed to be the prime that Optimus is a reincarnation of. So Zeta was added to make it the full 13 without bringing up the idea of reincarnation.

Perhaps it’s that he can freely combine with any transformers he chooses, or maybe he just in charge of the Enigma of Combination like in the IDW comics(I think?? I can’t remember if he actually was a full on combiner, but from what I remember, he was the same size as other bots). Either way, I do think it would have been cooler if he actually was a full on combiner that could separate into seperate bots IMO lol

I love how this design of Vector Prime is the first faithful redesign that still strongly resembles his Original Cybertron Design. Like how Optimus Prime has many consistent redesign of his G1 self.

I can't be the only one wondering which of the four got who's T-Cog. Alpha Trion gave them the Cogs of Onyx, Alchemist, Micronis, and Prima. At the very least I suspected Orion got Prima's Cog, since in the original comic Prima was the first bearer of the Matrix.

They all got good looks and are an extremly awesome bunch. Truly leaders that stand out among many as they were made to be. Shame how they met their ends. Betrayed, ambushed, ganged up on, scrapped (robot equivalent of slaughtered) and left to rust and gather vegetations.

It was really smart of them ti replace the Unknown 13th Prime (that's actually Optimus) with Zeta. It makes so much more sense this way.
